I've had mine for a few weeks now, took a few days to break in the action, but now, it's FANTASTIC. For the price, this is one of the favorites in my collection. It's snappy, nimble, takes a nice edge and the bronze anno titanium is gorgeous and with the stone washed coated blade, it's a user. I'm very happy with this one! Oh... and while I'm usually pretty good at front flippers, sometimes I fail, with this one... never.

You need a Skiff finger bit for taking out non-captive pivots. I hear it makes the process much easier and safer.

I love that they included those bronze donuts, er, washers. I'd like that option more often, honestly. I'm one of those people who prefer washers because I live in the southwest, and have actually gotten fine sand/dust in bearing pivots.

This really looks awesome! I know there are 1 million lives with the same basic design lines, but there is just something special about this ones to me. Same with the Vanguard Cheetah. They are both very similar, but they each just have something special that stands out to me. Based on both of my Kizer Militaws, I would probably go with this one. Kaiser really knows how to make an amazing knife! I just got the purple/DLC Militaw, a couple days ago, and I am completely blown away! The DLC coding on the blade seems like it makes the action superb. I have the adjusted even stiffer than on the original, yet the action is even smoother and drops even easier. I love me some Kizer, and this looks like a home run to me

A bit over budget at $280, but I've been casually browsing for suit pocket knives too, and my picks would be the Bestech Spear Phisher or Boos Blades Fang. Alternatively, KnifeCenter has a whole "Beat the Icon" page for the CRKT CEO, and most knives in that style are pretty good to go for that situation.

Kizer has had a tendency to run their steel a bit on the softer side. I constantly asked in their group what HRC they were running certain steel on certain models. I think they got a bit tired of me and have now started to list the HRC on some models, and other models (like the S45VN Militaw) they say "High Hardness" which means absolutely NOTHING. I would just prefer Kizer and ALL other brands to list the actual range they are shooting for on every model. We are closing in on 2025 and HRC range should be a standard thing companies and retailers list in the Specs. And they won't have to get constant questions about the HRC. If a company doesn't list it, I get immediately suspicious and will just assume it's soft and they won't tell. Like the small Kizer EDC fixed blades in 3V is 58-60HRC which is the recommended range for maximum toughness (usually for massive choppers), which is POO POO TOWN for and EDC knife, should be 62-63HRC. 4V is also soft and should rather be in the 63-64 range. Rex 45 they run 61-63 which is fine for the price of the Mystic, but should really be 63-65HRC ( I don't expect them to run it at 67 for that price).

I Just wished all these high end (ish) knives came with an actual deep carry pocket clip. It looks like an amazing looking piece, but I can't have a knife that sticks out of the pocket.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the long piece that comes with those plastic-boxed Wiha bit sets is a bit holder that slots into the box itself. Seems like it'd do well in a pinch if you need something to hold a free-spinning pivot still while you use your primary bit driver. Still shouldn't have to deal with free-spinning pivots in 2024 though.
