Hi Kev, with reference to your question is Tobacco cheaper in resorts or the airport. As a smoker I have always learnt it's cheaper in resorts, if this has changed I cant answer. Being a smoker of Golden Virginia, the cost of 92euros x 10 x 50G pouches as you know works out £9.20 per 50G. In the UK living in the East Anglia/London border it is priced per 50G £29.25. So clearly I don't care where you get my baccy from mate, LOL Cheers keep up the great work helping the working person see what prices are like in bars, and not just the fancy restaurants other vloggers like to show.
Me and my family just got back yesterday from Alcudia and its nothing like it was before covid. Its a shame we loved going to Alcudia but sadly it's lost its buzz. Lots of great places now empty and frankly full of rip off merchants, the spar supermarkets or so called supermarkets charge what they want and make the prices up. Its a con, some of the bars charge what they can get away with over the listed prices. I went the Queen Victoria on 3 separate occasions ordering the same round each time and was charged 3 different prices all of which was more than the menus stated. Go lidl which is cheap and buy food for meals, craziest thing is the wine is cheaper than the fruit. I was informed they had 90 million euros granted to revitalise the area and businesses, looks like a dump. Shame.
Thank's a lot for all the information you give, and to be honest - I'm improving in understanding your scottish accent! 🇸🇪 I'll be back in Alcudia at the end of September! I find my way there better and better!
Alcudia is cheap if you know where to go, the port is the posh end and more expensive than the other end by the Bellevue also it's more for non-British tourists aswell
I prefer the port area too Kevin, especially in the evenings. Prices are affordable down there and you get more of a Spanish feel too. The Eroski supermarkets used to do some brilliant cheap deals on Spanish lagers, we bought boxes of Estrella and filled the fridge with it😁
Mr.McNally, another fine review, we've been thinking about Alcudia for '23 but will reserve judgement till we see what the nightlife is like, what do you think of Alcudia at night ?. Take care kid.
Thanks Kevin, with the Missus and I classic rock fans maybe Alcudia might be a bit too quiet for us also, still, Majorca is a great holiday destination. Keep up the good work buddy.
Cala d'or was averaging between e10-e15 for one vodka & diet coke/7up.. was really annoying me, as a lot of places where using the big plastic bottles.. I only drink cans myself at home..
were looking for somewhere to go for a week 24.09.22.... all inclusive preferably.... any suggestions Kevin? been corralejo in april, looking for somewhere else.....
A wee bottle of wine ..I wonder what wonderful part of the world your from ..I bet it's the best place in the whole world ...miles better than England..
Terrible sorry for the prices, but you must understand that Balearic Islands doesn't have any taxing facility like the Canary Islands , so if you live or spend your holidays always in Tenerife, of course you'll find prices shocking.
