Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Green of Georgia refused to apologize Thursday after insulting one congresswoman's appearance and another's intelligence during a contempt hearing.
It began when Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett asked Green a question, and Green answered with a comment about Crockett's eyelashes. As a result, Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of New York came to Crockett's defense, and Green responded that AOC isn't smart enough to debate her.
