They should have added a couple of tweeters and a center speaker instead of the upfiring speakers which are far too quiet, no bouncing of the celling. even on atmos content, the speaker struggles with treble at times dialogue gets muffled . You don't get surround sound effects great sound coming from the front and side though. Music sounds amazing, 3d mode doesn't give you a 3d effect. I've had this a few weeks and tested out it's capabilities. It's a quality system but not good for atmos or 3d
I have an HDMI 2.1 lead from ARC to ARC, a Dolby Atmos movie playing on my Atmos TV, Passthrough selected on my TV, Auto selected... but the display on the soundbar SHOULD say Atmos instead of just ARC, but it doesn't! I get NO ATMOS SURROUND SOUND whatsoever from the soundbar... the whole reason for me buying this! Did you get the word Atmos on the display to recognise the Atmos signal? What could be wrong? I've been through all of the TV settings and there's nothing left to adjust.
I had to toggle through the inputs then back to arc to get atmos up or turn the soundbar of and on again . The effect is not great though, upfiring speakers aren't good. It's only a compressed dolby atoms signal through dolby digital plus. You need earc to get full atmos.
Hi, I have a Majority Snowdon soundbar and i find it like a hiss sound from the soundbar when sound is turned up, I use optical cabel if i get a better optical cabel would that inprove the sound any bit, Thanks...
@@IansTech exactly! Sheez, what a crap comment. Yeah, some corners were cut to bring the price down. But it is still a great product. I am seriously considering it.
