Funny thing is when I saw this video I laughed because I did this exact niche 3 years ago uploaded a bunch of videos then abandoned the channel. I just logged in and saw the analytics. If only I kept with it for 3 years it could have been successful. I'm going to give it another crack. Thanks
Videos never took off they were poor quality and I used still images which I try to animate with a app then added free background music. Each video only got 10-100 views. Poor effort on the videos the quality needs to be good is what I figures out.@@tysonjordanjackson5826
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RU-vid channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,094 subs and > 900 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
@@FinanciallyPowerful Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my RU-vid channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a RU-vidr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I'm so glad to know that there are some people who have the courage to fight for what they truly believe in and to improve the way they live because life is too short to waste it I recently quit nursing as I hate it and it doesn’t make me fulfilled at all. Working in a very toxic environment isn’t worth sacrificing for. From constant gossiping, backstabbing, the lack of support from the management, micromanagement and to being treated like a piece of sh*t. These are the most common themes in mega corporations and even small ones although there are a few corporations that do still value their employees. I also don't agree with how the healthcare system is running. They are treating the symptoms of diseases but not the root causes. Promoting a very poor diet and just medicating them although some pharmacological interventions can be beneficial but their approach is not holistic at all and is lacking many aspects of life that are needed to have a healthy lifestyle. This type of lifestyle is what I truly do not agree with. I was in a career that is deeply flawed in so many ways. There are some nursing careers that are better than the other but most of them aren't holistic. Most businesses only care about making money and not about the well-being of their employees and clients. I then decided to slowly dig my way out. I spent every drop of my limited free time working on meaningful projects I truly care about and applied for as many jobs as I can until I found a job that is more enjoyable and is a positive workplace to be in. I am now an office manager in a clinic and do creative stuff via RU-vid and freelancing on my days off. I am still at a corporate job but I’m happier than working as a Nurse. I like the people I work with and they treat me with respect and as a human-being. That’s what’s more important to me. Having a sense of purpose through creating online content I truly care about also helps a lot. My freelancing gigs also give me creative outlets. I like the variety of tasks of being a manager as well as it offers tons of creativity. This job also gives me more free time for myself and I can spend some time socializing with my loved ones and meeting new folks. I couldn’t have been much happier if I didn’t start taking actions to change my life.
I just started my meditation channel that provides original guided meditations, and I think having a strong brand and original voice overs are going to be essential within this niche. There are a lot of AI "meditation channels" on RU-vid, but I think having a human component is necessary for it to appeal to people.
I agree! I have a faceless channel I did spiritual meditations on in 2021, life happened and I couldn't focus on it. Mine were in my own voice, purchased music, etc. I can't get with the AI voice for meditation, for educational content I can.
The fact that there are currently 191 comments about people having meditation video channels on RU-vid means there are probably about 4.2 million of them.
Finally I found a complete video tutorial on how to make relaxation videos. The funny thing is that I have created a channel about relaxation just by learning from watching existing channels including The Tungsten Room and Soothing Scene without learning the basics first. After watching this video, I got enlightenment about how to make an interesting relaxation video, thank you very much, for sharing, this really helped me. One of my channels has been accepted by the RU-vid partner program and dollars are starting to come in. Another channel has passed 4000 watch hours but subscriber growth is still slow, I hope to learn from you 😉 I created these two channels for approximately 3 months. I run a separate channel like this and have been grinding on it for a long time, I was doing it the wrong way in the beginning and about 5 months ago I started doing it right, but sadly It feels extremely difficult to break through. I got it monetized in April this year and so far my best months I made about $50 and my best video got 2K views in about a weeks time. I'm trying to stay positive and keep pushing with it until a video breaks through and goes viral or something, always adapt and change but never give up!
@@BeComingNyrell using repetitive content like music from a website i paid for and using backgrounds from wallpaper engine which means that both elements had been used 1000x by other channels as well.
@@BeComingNyrell Unfortunately in this niche "doing it wrong" often means using other peoples work, videos, images sounds etc. I too would like to know what you did. I am holding out that someone actually makes the sandwich themselves instead of using other peoples work.😎
Everything I have read is that a lot has changed in this niche. Not sure about the channels mentioned but channels that are using assets bought from other sources are getting demonetized. You have create your own stills, video and audio content to keep the algorithm engaged,

Carol, I'd be careful not to place all you digital eggs in on basket (YT) if you want to earn extra dollars in the digital space during retirement. It takes work and burnout is common. But there is a way and the payoff can be great. Good luck to you in all your endeavors!
Dont do what they say, DO WHAT THEY DO : selling people ways to "make money". So their channel is categorized as financial, they get the highest rpm from AdSense, and are always well ranked in the algorithm
This is real industry info that those were the same copycat formulaic marketing funnel will not share with you because they’re all doing the same thing. Let me show you how I made $8 billion in 14 seconds by doing this incredibly super easy and intuitive thing that isn’t hard at all. In reality, they’re making money by getting you to believe that they know how to make money so that they can get your email address so that they can insert you into their marketing funnel and pester you for the rest of your life. That’s best case scenario. If they have no ethics at all, they’ll just sell your email address as a prepackaged list of highly targeted consumers for ____ niche.

What bothers me is that one cannot choose where to place ads on the video unless the channel already has 1000 subscribers. There’s nothing worse during a guided meditation than some loud add that totally wakes you up. Any idea how to get around this? Would really appreciate your input! 🌹🌹🌹
That is what happened to my channel. I had already started getting views and followers and then the ads started appearing in the middle of the video (waaaaah) and I had to unlist most of my 10 min meditation videos because of the ads and the complaints I got :(

From watching many videos on the subject of how to make money on youtube, I've discovered the best way is to Make videos on the subject of 'How To Make Money On RU-vid', with some of the most watched videos being "How Much Money I Earned on RU-vid"
I thought about making a meditation channel before but was hesitant. So I leaned more on the other thing that I like (Life Wisdom Philosophy) where I believe I will have more room to give value. I started a channel (this one) using similar methods as described in this video for several of my own. I stopped working on it for several months and am just recently starting to get back into uploading regularly. However, I am seeing so many people in comments and in their own videos claiming these types of videos will not get monetized anymore. While I definitely put a lot of time and effort into to making my videos my own, as someone who has never become monetized before and has that as a goal, I’m worried I am wasting my time on content RU-vid will never push. Would love to get some thoughts. - Tyler
I believe it is possible. But from my understanding it has to be very original. Preferably your own videos, pictures etc.. Then the regular consistency, and not a quick thing but some time & effort. Everything is possible :) Those are just my thoughts ♡
Hi there. I know this video has received many negative comments; however, I showed 2 channels who are very fresh and new to RU-vid who are clearly monetized because they continue to upload. I would recommend adding voice for meditation if you’re able, that would really help also. Another thing that is very popular and something I personally watch is positive subliminals in which the sound of the voice is turned down very low. RU-vid pushes this content to me constantly because it is what I watch. Best of luck to you in your RU-vid journey. ❤️
I've read that in order for a channel like this to monetize, it has to contain approximately 80% original content. You can't use freely available images/sounds/music to monetize, even if you put images/sounds together in an original way.
Find something new to do. This is not a solution for money. Trust me on this. If you have skills, start looking at anything other than AI. There are so many of these videos already, you are behind the curve, not ahead of it.

There’s no proof everyone uses these videos for falling asleep to so it wouldn’t help YT to demonetized them unless they ssee a dramatic fall in ad revenue being reported back.
hahaha it was fate i found this. I've had an idea for a channel, even had scripts ready to go, but gave up because I couldn't figure out how to do the visuals. I'm admittedly not that bright with tech stuff and there are so few guides out there. I even tried to use an AI thing to make the visual part but it ended up so bad I gave up. omg your guide is so simple and easy to follow I feel extra dumb. thank you! I can work with this.

This sounds good, however, for me personally speaking for myself, it is not some make money quick thing. At least that has not been the case for me. It is just as hard to build up as it has been this channel that I have now for education in the beauty industry. I will try again though, I'm feeling motivated, and I don't like to just give up. What about reused content? I have accounts with various companies for sound effects and music and I'm reading that people are being demonetized for using them... Is that true? I mean isn't that what these companies are there for?

Pixabay.com will allow you to download meditation music that is copyright free. Once monetized you can select “no mid roll ads and it will turn off the ads in the middle of your videos.

The problem with such channels is that RU-vid doesn't allow it, and the reason why is because the content is repeated, I had a channel and paid for music, pictures and videos, but again they said it was repeated, so yea didnt work for me.....
