Rideshare is almost slavery as they (Uber) Lyft take (half) of the purse leaving the driver to pay all other expenses from gas, maintenance and of course insurance....
I always though the rideshares should have a “recreational” dept. I live in a coastal area and believe I could make a decent amount driving ppl and their kayaks, paddle boards, etc to and from the beach.
Always dreamed about using my F-350 Platinum dually 6.7 L Diesel to haul for Grubhub 😂 lol it won’t grind enough money to cover fuel cost in the end of the day with those burgers
After I bought My Truck I started making good Side Money doing Lawn Services . Now I can't See My Life Without My Truck. It's an Older Truck but It Does what I need it To do..
@@SweatVenture your welcome. Just figured it would be good to point out because steel prices usually tends to stay around 6-8 cents per pounds while copper usually varies around $2-3.30 per pound.
Best choice to accommodate your family and getting most out of it. Transportation, hauling, delivery, camping, 4w drive, cross country, so many things that can be fulfilled. Truck owner will always be Proud
Um the 2 ideas of door dash type thing is definitely not something you would want to use a truck for, the gas wouldn’t make sense vs a tiny car But thanks for the other suggestions
Yes, that idea was just included as a worst-case-scenario, i.e. the people who need money fast. It is not recommended for a long-term solution. Thanks for watching.
Yeah I have a 2020 F150. Even the smallest engine they had available, I still get awful gas mileage in the city. I have done door dash and I have to be extremely picky with the orders I accept, otherwise I lose money delivering food.
Yes, many landscapers probably make more than that but it's none stop work from sun up to sun down if they want that money. Work your ass off for a few years and you'll be set for decades if you invest your money right.
Most of the suggestions in this video will not get you anywhere close to this number until your go not only full time but working about 60-80 hours a week.
Insurance costs can vary widely based on factors like location, usage, and driving record. However, you can generally expect to pay between $2,000 to $3,500 per year for commercial auto insurance.
@@SweatVenture The notion of making 5k a week with most of the hustles you mentioned is pretty far-fetched. I won't even address DoorDash and Uber. Even optimistically with a moving business, a quarter million a year , or $5,000 a week, is not very realistic. I could see doing those kind of numbers if you were running a roofing business or something
That one comment makes the video useless? Haha. We're not recommending everyone do Uber full-time with a truck. It's just a way to make quick money for those who are need cash fast.
@@SweatVenture The title is also misleading and can be considered click bait. $5k per week for most of what you listed is unrealistic for one person. Deliveries pay like $50-75 at most, if u can get a contract. U mention on the side making cash but most people don't make $5k a month, let alone a week. Your tag line worked. It got me to click on Video. Granted i didn't watch it all when uber, doordash etc was mentioned. i am sure it resonated with someone. Thank you for making the video.
We have a different opinion of quick and easy. Doing trash hauling is easy money for me. However occupationally I am a Heavy Equipment Operator. So what I consider "easy" someone who works a desk job might not think is easy.
there is no way i would even step out my door for $20.USD a hr. want me and my truck it goes up to $1000.USD a hr. as when my insurance corp finds out the truck is no longer just a privet non commercial truck i will never be able to insure it again with any insurance corp.
Does anyone know a Regional Hot shot company that provides the truck and trailer who’s hiring and is a good company and pays well? I have around 6-7 years driving semi, reefer, flatbed and dry van experience. Looking for maybe something doing Southeast and Southwest. Thanks in advance!!🦅💪🏻👍
