If the drifter hits the abso its fine. he will get nueted out but his base tank doesnt depend on cap so thats fine. With the nos his boosts rarely go down. Pali reps are strong enough to keep him alive for the drifter or site! The tool is pathfinder. Do you think pally is the best option for c5 ratting? Is there a reason you would do the 2 pally and a vargur instead of 2 pally and a golem to speed up drifter?
Vargur was just what my friend was flying. In a lot of ratting situations, the ship comps end up being based on the people and what they fly. If we wanted to optimize, a golem would increase our times pretty drastically because we could then split into two groups and each do what we do best, site or drifter. Overall in my opinion : The Paladin is the best. A single Kronos is always fun and acceptable Vargurs are shorter range, better tracking paladins that run out of ammo Golems aren't allowed on the site with me, I hate em. They stay with the drifter where they belong.

You can actually do full 3 sites/hour with 2 palas and magus if the build and tactic is right. Which makes you earn 1.65 b/hour + about 100+ mil of salvage. Need 3 windows total and 1h total. Still a good video

i did 0 minutes of setup for this video and normally dont close holes anymore. but you are right if you want to reduce your risk you need to prepare the area you want to rat. in a recent video i rolled holes before ratting and spent a total of 15 minutes between scanning and rolling(really good time for me lol). normally ill budget 30 minutes as a normal time to solo prep a hole.
Question to you? Ever consider pre-aligning and then warping off to the static after you pop the drifter, have him chase you there and engage/finish him on the static at 0. Feels safer this way because of new 1min bastion timer, if a new sig pops, you can jump hole and warp off or jump drive 100kms and cloak depending on setup etc…if you see anything on dscan. What do you think of this strategy?
Running your drifters off site is definitely an option so long you have a fresh un popped static to finish him on. Also has a chance of revealing any k162's who's signature hasn't spawned yet . Your strategy seems fine but when shit hits the fan it's always gonna be some worst case scenario, your strat removes the drifter as a threat
This is a great setup until lazerhawks rolls in and you have to ask youself.. Did I break even on isk? Not sure the risk vs reward is there. Another great video though.
1 murder dies faster then 6 lol for sure Even 2 and a abso something might get out so u might not lose all isk invested just half u know but then u can still go back and clear wit one marauder if that’s all u got

a single nag with a good pilot can do sites in 15 minutes. so ~1.8B if you factor in warping. Capitals perform better but add a layer of complexity when it comes to setting the sites up and running them. I like the paladins, but my favorite is a 5 paladin site lead, and a Nag that sits on the static wormhole and eats Drifters; thats ~6B an hour / 6 toons , so multiboxers preferred .

So the 3rd account isn't needed to do this, i have the 3rd toon so why not undock it and have it do something(can't pali yet). Ultimate I can just use a bubble for tackling the drifter and the tank doesn't need the boosts. But why not bring the 3rd toon, makes things smooth and drifter tackle easier and MTU management possible. but yeah that be what it be, no trying-harding just using my accounts casually, normally very intoxicated when I rat. So to me it feels like the 2 palis are each making 750 m / hr but i get the desire to include the useless yet useful 3rd toon. But realistically with this setup, 2 toons or 3, the same ratting rate is achievable. (these palis can solo the site)
I recently watched a video where you did this solo in a paladin and you are also saying oyu can do this in 2 paladins. I am confused as to how you are supposed to tackle the final drifter with jus the paladins, also is soloing 1 marauder still feasible and worth it?@@GKhagah
@@Michea32 paladin has lots of cargo space to work with, you can cram in a T2 Medium bubble. Drop the bubble before the MTU, ( wrecks won't allow bubble to be dropped if nearby ) then learn to time the unanchoring so the bubble drops as the drifter dies . When ever I did the bubble I always locked incase I needed to shoot it to warp off but with that minute bastion timer your chances to warp off now adays are , lower. T1 bubble can be used , just when you drop it you have to approach it as the bubbles radius is the drifters orbit range
wow thanks for the quick reply, but i got it then the bubble makes sense. I was worried it could just leave it and warp off as well. Would doing C5s be somehow doable as kind of a nomad, one ship for scanning and bookmarking invis and paladin for the sites. Or is this just too risky to try. as moving into a WH might be too much work as i live in a null alliance@@GKhagah

semi-permanent options exist. like farm holes, or some advanced pre planned day trips. but living in a wormhole with a wormhole corp will teach you everything you need to know to solo these activities and give you access to the content daily.
