Instead of aloe vera gel mix it with Vaseline As aloe vera gel gets dry ofter on your lips and Vaseline gives a smooth finish And Vaseline can also applied as a blush
How to skip 90% of steps: buy dried beetroot powder, or any other naturally derived dye. Then you can have your very own patchy, inconsistent cheek stain that you’re constantly having to mix fresh because it has no preservative system.
Hello! Thank you so much for this tutorial! It is very very helpful! I just have one question what is the self life for this? How long does it last without refrigeration. Thank you so so much! Also can I use coconut virgin oil instead of aloe vera? Thank you so so much!
Without a preservative, treat it like freshly cooked food. Store in the fridge, do not use it for more than a week. With a preservative added, you can extend the shelf life significantly to up to a year!
I love the color, instead of aloe vera gel I would use a mix of sweet almond oil, beeswax and an essential oil I liked and make a salve instead. I think that it would maybe last longer but the texture would be more like a conventional lipstick and stay on my lips better.
You can disolve the color int he beetroot first in the glycerin and after try the salve, maybe it won’t have the full color, but it can be mixed with the oils, glycerin dissolve water, oil and alcohol based things, so you can try better that instead of just trying the beet with oil
I imagine it wouldn't last long (contains water from the aloe and sugars from the beets, which is perfect for bacterial and fungal growth). It would be best to sterilise the little jar before potting the mix and after that it may last approx 1 week in the fridge, and just a day or two outside.
This is amazing!! I use makeup all the time and I can’t help but be worried about my skin. This is perfect and healthy. Thank you very much❤ God bless you sis
I think it must be refrigerated, because alors gel contains water, so bacteria will grow and spoil the product if not refrigerated or if it doesn't contain a proper preservative.
It’s a gorgeous colour and consistency! For me personally I prefer the look of very natural colours for lipstick and blush which this would be. Would it become mouldy since it’s a biological material? Especially with the aloe mixed in making it wet? If so it might be better to store the powder and aloe in separate jars and mix immediately before use. I have some older beets ATM (I always have a bottle of plain aloe as well.) and I’m thinking I want to try this! Everything has gotten so expensive it’s essential these days to cut costs anyway possible and unfortunate I’ve had to sacrifice by stretching my makeup, rationing it even and simply not purchasing anything beyond the basics necessities. So learning to make some things using natural, simple ingredients is a win/win as it’s also nice to know exactly what’s in your products and how it’s made.
Someone said aelovera needs water based solvent in another comment so won't dissolve in Vaseline or oily things. Aloevera is 99% water. But you can try a little portion with Vaseline let's see what happens.
@@LITTLEDIY mam... on drying the beetroot it did not luk anywhere close to ur dried beetroot. how many days did u dry it nd it was only mild sunlight as u dried it near d window nd not on d terrace.. kindly clear my doubts,, nd ur videos r just a treat to r hearts..
Thank you for this amazing natural beauty tricks. Does it disappear after washing it? I'm afraid that the color will remain constant. Beetroot has a color that sticks to clothes. And how can we keep it?
I think if I add a little cocoa powder or maybe turmeric the color would interestingly change into some sort of nude or more natural tone. I can't wait for a little experiment 😁 weeee!
They really look great in blue outfits💙Come to think of it, I think they look great in bright colors because they have cheerful image even though they want to do sexy concepts(based on thier interview😂)
I am going to try this tomorrow but instead of aloe Vera I shall try ghee. Aloe Vera like I read in the comments is drying and ghee will be perfect in my opinion - it will moisturize , make the texture creamy and there will be no need to refrigerate it either . No concern of it getting spoilt ! :p I feel excited about making this.
@@Wintercafe. I tried it it did not stain my lips and the color was not pink but kinda purplish. I might have burnt it but yeah it did not stain my lips like a lip tint. If you have pink lips then you can try it
@@Tiatiiiiiiia thank you so much for your feedback!! I will try it when I have beetroot powder. If it works well,,,I will share my process with you ! ( Hope I don't forget..hehe)
@@snehaprakash5833 Peppermint, eucalyptus, and tea tree oil are all wonderful herbs/ plants that can help with acne. All of them have anti bacterial properties as well as cooling agents found within them. I put these oils in to pure witch hazel astringent in a brown bottle to help it keep longer. Three/ four drops of each per ounce. Don't go crazy. You can also spot treat with any of these oils with a q-tip, and holding them there until the cooling sensation stops. Make sure to use a healthy lotion or clean oil (such as flax etc) to seal the skin after washing and applying the astringent. You could make a natural tincture from these fresh herbs as well (minus the tea tree), if only the herbs are available to you, or you have a green thumb.
The steps for using beet juice as a natural hair dye are similar to those for carrot juice: Mix beet juice with a carrier oil.Apply the mixture liberally to your hair, and then wrap your hair.Let the mixture set for at least an hour before washing it out.
@@maheenzaffar Gee, I just got your kind reply!? Thank you, probable have to test different strengths of the beet juice, also to see how long it lasts. Thank you again 🌷🌿
@@Rim6060yeah but i think they should sanitize their hands every time before using it because they can transfer a lot of germs which may lead to a mould infestation or any other bacterial growth
caveman instructions: cut beetroot thin strips, show beetroot string to sun, hit beetroot sun crunchies with rock and other rock till dust, make really dusty, put dust in plant goo, red plant goo good 👍
If you have the plant at home You need to cut a leaf from the aloe vera plant from the bottom outer layer of the plant then cut the end were the leaf was attached to the plant and put it in a container draining upside down so they can drain the bitterness for 15- 20 minutes after that you rinse it and then you peel it; cutting out the edges first were the thorns are, then peeling the aloe vera leaf cut off the skin and take out the crystals; next you give it a rinse with Filter water and cut it up in pieces and put it in a small blender with a little bit of water maybe 1 tablespoon of spring water for a half a cup aloe vera crystals; and then you can add the beetroot powder and a tablespoon of a good oil and maybe half a tablespoon of raw honey, the oil in the honey lock out the moisture so it doesn't easily dried out I know that probably might be too loose then maybe it needs to put something to thicken it to make it more like a jelly solid form remember to look for some type of good healthy oil like organic oil coconut smells good; argan oil is good too; but it doesn't smell good as coconut oil, avocado oil doesn't have any smell, I think this recipe is good; but it needs to be improved it with some other ingredients to bind the products and making it more solid in a gelatin form that doesn't easily dry out I think the oils will help with that; but will have to figure out what other ingredients will help this home cosmetic natural recipe, to make it more solid in a gelatin form 🤔 anybody else have any more ideas❓️💡 😀 please keep comment
