Make 400 Damage UNBREAKABLE Fast Sword in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom 

You can get Bone Wep. Prof. boost from Radiant Armor from Kakariko! Much easier than obtaining the one shown in video if people do not have it yet. Make sure to upgrade the Radiant Armor twice to get the buff.

For everyone who can't get all 3 Sticks to drop, it's because of Ver. 1.0.0 If You are playing on 1.0.0 you don't need to stand right against a wall, you can do it on a open space. Then follow these instructions: 1. Equip the ability-weapon (the weapon who's stats you're going to put into the master sword) 2. Crouch and make sure you're not holding a weapon 3. Open the inventory 4. Drop the ability-weapon and equip the master sword 5. Drop a shield (the bigger the better, I usually drop a rocket or wing shield and it always works, but any Shield should work) 6. Buffer (unpause and pause really quick) 7. Drop the master sword 8. Unpause 9. Stay crouched and walk over and pick up only the ability-weapon 10. Check your inventory of it worked

for all having trouble doing the ++ and drop the master sword: before you drop the 3 sticks unequip the shield and then drop the 3 sticks then ++ did for me

browsing the comments, I found a few tips that worked for me so I'll post them together: 0. dont update to 1.2 lol 1. this only seems to work if you only have one msgnotfound in your inventory. if you have multiple, drop all of them, except for the one you're augmenting, to the side before you begin, and grab them after. 2. the distance from the wall you need for this (and really any zuggling) is wide enough for your sticks to be dropped behind you, but narrow enough for the msgnotfound to not have enough room (and display the "you cant take that out here"). The msgnotfound is rather wide, and since the sticks are narrower, there is a valid distance that will drop the sticks but not msgnotfound. this applies to the shield dropping methods in other zuggling tutorials too. 3. your ++ maneuver worked if you can still see your stick on your back when you re-pause. if not, reset and try again 4. wait a 5-10 seconds before picking the target weapon up. 5. dont forget to save and load after successfully doing it

Radient Armor in Kakriko Village gives Bone Prof Up as well and its upgradable armor so you aren't a glass cannon with the Evil Spirit.

I got it to work by holding ZL the whole entire time. Once you've done the 3 shield bashes keep holding ZL through the menus. Continue the glitch as normal just keep holding ZL. Thats how I got the "Msgnotfound" to be able to drop. I hope this helps someone.

Glad you posted this, I actually suggested doing this on Khraze’s video this morning. Also you can an actually save and reload at the octorock to get you modifier you want instead of waiting for the bloodmoon.

What I love about the glitch most is the almost hologram-like effect that happens whenever you attack with the fused MNF, for ppl that don't know its like a light blue, slightly transparent version of the molduga jaw whenever you use the sword. Edit: Someone has corrected me and this does not only apply to the msgnotfound, the normal master sword that you get while playing the normal storyline can fuse and the same thing I described happens.

I can confirm that the damage of the base weapon used for this does not matter. I tested this using a Master Sword just like in the video made with a Royal Guard's Claymore, and one made with a Tree Branch. Everything was the same between the two except the base weapon. Based on the math, the Master Sword made with the Tree Branch should have taken about twice as many hits to kill a Lynel as the one made with the Royal Guard's Claymore, but they both killed the Lynel in 8 hits. This proves that the base weapon's damage does not transfer over. All that transfers over is the fused material, the about-to-break status, and the buff.

There's a method lf travel i like to use. I typically call it Ultrahand speed. You lift up something and turn your cameras so that link is being face to infront (you can see his back) Then you hold down on the control stick and move left and right while still moving down. Like a zigazag.. Link's left and right movement is quicker while in ultrahand. And no stamina usage either.

I found that when I did the claymore/lynel horn durability transfer to my MSG master sword and the claymore was ACTUALLY about to break and on its very last hit..every time I use my OP msg it makes a whipping sound ...and takes CHUNKS of health bars...CHUNKS.. cant imagine needing or wanting a more powerful weapon

Using this glitch you can display MSGNotFound in link’s house. If you want to do this perform the glitch normally but instead of re-equipping the sword at 9:41, just press A to display it in a display stand and it will place MSGNotFound in the pedestal instead

I'm working on this now. Fuse an 'I'm going to break double damage weapon" with a Gleok horn with the master sword. Repeat 2 more times for each element. Then, while they are all in you inventory, do the elemental master sword trick to combine them all. You should get the exact same sword almost broken with all 3 powers and the double bonus for being broken.

If you haven't updated to 1.1.2, you can dupe weapons SUPER fast by just standing with your back to a wall, setting your L to open the map, holding L and spamming the quick switch button (works for bows and shields too), spam the quick switch button again while you press X to drop your currently equipped weapon, switch to a different weapon, then spam + when you let go of the quick switch button and drop the newly equipped item from ur inventory, close the pause menu, walk away from the wall, and drop ur currently equipped weapon again. It'll spawn a clone of your original weapon on top of it on the floor, and the original original will be back in your inventory

I've found six or seven rock octoroks around the central ring of Death mountain, and about 20 along the northern canyon. The easiest few are very close to shrines, with one being directly in front of one, then two down the tracks.

So happy I finally got it to work I tried for like an hour yesterday with an msg sword that was already in my inventory and during the glitch the msg sword kept either disappearing or dropping with no buff. Tried again today and here's how I got it.. I first duplicated the msg sword in my inventory that wasn't working out yesterday and kept the new one I got and disposed of the old one. With the new one I attempted the glitch again. It worked so those of you who are having problems it may have something to do with your msg sword just dupe it and use the new one you get also get rid of the one you used to dupe and try the glitch in this video again. Also, things this vid doesn't tell you but are important... make sure to unequip the shield after positioning yourself from the wall and after you succeed at getting the fused sword hard save before leaving the shrine and without leaving the pause menu go to the title screen. Reload hard save from there and save again inside the shrine.

There are four rock balloons if you go to Momosik shrine (mountain right side). Just go right, 2 are VERY close to the shrine.

I do everything right but the power of the master sword remains the same. I tried holding zl the whole time, tried unequipping the shield before and after the stick dropping. It just isn't working. And my game isn't updated either. Any tips? I'm DESPERATE

When doing the last past, make sure you are using a MsgNotFound that has not been fused before and is completely from the new game save. I kept using a defused MsgNotFound and it would never work with it. Hope this helps anyone having the same issue I was having.

Not sure if this was just dumb luck, but try making sure you keep your shield up until you get the screen saying that you can't drop that there. This keeps your character "ready" for combat so when you pick up the RGC on the ground the RGC is automatically placed in your hand.

Love your vid. Got myself a indestructible 72 attack master sword with molduga jaw and 1 hit away from breaking. But I believe there is a slight misinformation here. I tried the same thing with the gloom club with attack up +10 which has the base damage of 60. But the glitch yielded the same 72 attack master sword. I think the glitch only transferred the attack +10 modifier, the fused Molduga Jaw, and the 1 hit away from breaking status. Hence master sword 30 + 10 from attack up + 32 from molduga jaw = 72. The base power of the weapon did not affect the final master sword.

Instead of going for the highest damage, I've found it fun to leave a small amount of challenge. Fuse the MsgNotFound sword with a light dragon part, for an unbreakable sword which heals you a little on each hit... and then never use any food or other healing items (including fairies and beds and spas), ever. It totally changes the overall dynamic of the game, so you have to jump into battles and fight up-close if you want to heal.

I keep only dropping two sticks or when I drop the MsgNotFound it becomes a stick. What am I doing wrong? I guess for 1.0.0 you have to do it differently. when I do all the steps, before I pick up the Mulduga hammer, my msg-not found is still equipped, I noticed yours is not and I can't get it to work.

I'm having a bit of a weird difference. I'm getting the fusion, flashing and the message, but not the damage bonus? (the arrows showing attack+) I have the royal guards claymore glowing & +10 sitting @ 150 -- they're the same, but different? anyone else experience this? I've done it multiple times and each time it's the same result. I *am* on the base version of the game tho, not even 1.1.1 so maybe that plays into it??

I can't get it to work. I go through all the steps and get the message that the sword cant be dropped, but when I pick up the weapon to add nothing happens.

When transfering the properties of the moldiga hammer to the msgnotfound the option to drop it is greyed out. What should I do?

FOR ANYONE STUCK NOT BEING ABLE TO DROP THE THREE STICKS AND CANT GET THE GLITCH WORKING… it is because you are on 1.0.0 - I had almost 150 failed attempts on 1.0.0 over three days. Tonight I updated to 1.1.1 (version just before dupes stop working) and did the glitch on my second go using the exact method from this video. A good way to test if this glitch will work for you is, try to drop the three long sticks normally (not next to a wall, not trying to glitch) and it only allows you to drop two sticks and you get the “you can’t take this out here message” then this glitch method will NOT work for you. Don’t waste your time. Try to update to 1.1.1 (apparently 1.1.0 works although I’ve heard it’s harder). Make sure you do NOT update to the latest version (1.1.2 or above) or you will lose your ability to dupe entirely. There are ways to manually update the game to 1.1.1 if you have enough knowledge. I hope this helps and saves a lot of time for people. @BLAINES pin this comment if you like to help people get this done

Can you still combine the master sword in 1.1.2?

I find it funny that the shrine is called "The ability to combine" and we're using ot to fuse the ultimate weapon. Haven't gotten it yet but I'll keep trying.

Im on patch 1.0.0 and it just doesnt work it keeps saying cant drop item here and im like doing everything he does but still doesnt work i even tried doing an extra 1 and even to sheild parries and still doesnt work

for the people interested in getting the highest possible damage royal guards claymore u can buy weapon pictures for the compendium till u get the picture of a clear royal guards claymore. slap it on the sensor and fly through the depths till it goes off.

Three sticks need to be last in inventory. Stand next to wall, parry 3x. Unequip shield, equip msg, go to menu, equip sticks. Drop all three back to front, equip msg, ++, drop msg. Had to play with wall distance a bit. If msg drops or stays on your back just pivot and pick up sticks and try again.

You can add the +10 attack to the scimitar of the seven using this method for anyone interested. (This works for any other weapon not just msgnotfound)

every time you unsheathe your sword it says the master sword is running low on energy. besides that great build. I just done it myself. I'm still on version 1.1.1 turned the switch internet off, I always put it in sleep mode and I won't close totk until I get everything I possibly could ever need. And I'll get ready for the first of many dlc, only then will I update it.

i tried for almost 3 hours. i ran a script that presses plus twice as fast as possible. over 100 tries and i cant get it to work. every time i look behind me there are only 2 sticks and the third one gets auto collected again. i am not sure what im doing wrong

There's a new faster way to do the item dupe once again. You do the shield jump, pause, hold all your items, and hit b+y at the same time. No need to move items to last slot.

ill try this method again. but question do I have to only have 1 of the weapon that im trying to transfer to my msgnotfound? Example: Having one silver lynel reaper (Gloom Sword + Sliver Lynel Saber Horn), get the stick from the construct, clone it until I have 3 of em. 2nd question will this work even if I have 2 msgnotfound swords in my inventory or do I have to have 1 in my inventory when doing this? And now for my final question does my inventory have to be full to make this gltich work or can it be done without having a full inventory?

Just succesfully did it! I decided to duplicate the final outcome and it duplicated! I then got rid of the fusion, leaving the msgmaster sword. It has a +9 attack to its base form. I wonder if you can fuse it with another buffed weapon and have both.

I’ve finally managed to do it twice but even with the 3 long sticks it doesn’t always work 100% of the times.

Yo I found a 208 weapon, being one hit from breaking wouldnt that be 416 ? Idk how much more itd do being one hit off breaking shown on my youtube shorts, one bow shot and 3 mounted swings to kill red lynel with attack up off “tunic of the wild” set stacked with attack up food, this does stack but would just make it equivalent to diety phantom and barbarian set

I did this and now I’m redoing it because I found the Pristine Royal Claymore with plus 10 damage 😊

Are Gibdo Bones considered bone weapons for the sake of Radiant/Evil Spirit armor? If so that would do more dmg - 40 ATK power from Gibdo compared to 32 from Molduga Edit: Or the special boss drop from the Colgera as I saw someone else ask which is somewhere in the range of 40?

Do you still get the double damage with the gloom club and silver Lynel mace horn? I get it to 1 shot from breaking but it doesn’t show the double damage in the inventory. Does the double damage still transfer to msg not found?

Do i have to keep the broken claymore or i can get rid of it after ?

If im not mistaken the base weapon you start with (royal claymore, gloom club, tree stick) is irrelevant since the base damage (and its specialty modifiers such as the zora spear's water damage buff) doesn't get transferred, only its upgrade bonus, dura, and fuse part

hi Blaines, really helpful video, but i gotta point out a little mistake. Using the gloom club won't change anything, because this glitch (zuggle), doesn't transfer damage data, it only transfers durabilty, modifiers and fused material. Also, with your setup but with +10 damage, the max damage output is (30+32+10) * 2 * 1.8 * 1.5 = 388.8, because the MNF doesn't actually deal 146 damage on it's own, but 144. small difference though, lol

It keeps deleting my mnf and not fusing but im doing everything exactly how it says or it will not fuse and ill pick up the fused big dmage sword and ill just have an unfused mnf.

For the weapon dupe, the drop weapon before load save doesn't need to happen. You can load save after pause pause

Use a pristine royal guard's claymore for more damage. use shadows west of korom lightroot for the spawn. requires decayed one with no attachments to be broken first.

Question sense i finally got it to work in a weird way. Can you just keep adding on the same mnf? Or does it override what is already on it? I'm asking because i don't have even close to the strongest stuff in the game

I went and got a Pristine Royal Guard Claymore from the Depths added the Attack up +10 which gave me 49 instead of a 41. Fused it with the Molduga Jaw got 81. Then got it to the breaking point and final result 162. Extra 16 in damage. Im still on Ver 1.1.1 never updated

If you use a “Gloom Club” for the transfer instead of “RGC”, will we lose hearts when attacking?

how would this work with the gloom club? since it doesn't have breaking point it won't double its damage

I got this to work fusing a royal guard claymore with a silver lynel horn. But for some reason every time I try this when I pick up the weapon in the middle of the room it doesn't give me the master sword. I even get the message saying this cannot be dropped with the master sword

How are you managing to drop the master sword? Once I drop the sticks and do the ++ the option for the msgnotfound is greyed out, no matter how fast I press it.

I went with a Pristine Royal Guard's Claymore so I got 162 + 10 Attack Power so my Unbreakable Master Sword has 72 as the displayed Attack Power, but without any ATK Buff or Armor Set yet to boost. So glad to still be on 1.1.1... this is going to be so much fun wasting enemies away now.

I have 1.0.0 and every time i drop the 3 sticks and equip the msg ++ and then drop the msg the swprd turns into a stick and it wont let me do the glitch

For anyone who have problem with picking up 30dmg master sword instead, when you do all these steps right, before picking the weapon, try to wait for 5 or 10 seconds then pick it. Work.

I dont know if its just me but whenever im doing the glitch my msg not found keeps turning into a wooden stick what is happening(I dumped my file to my computer btw so it may be because of that)

Would using a gloom club that has a base of 50 be better or is the pristine royal guard claymore the best?

Doesn't work for me. When I get to the part where it says to drop the msgnotfound after dropping the 3 sticks, the drop button is greyed out. (i tried on 1.1.0 & 1.1.1, same result)

This was freaking insane. I’m definitely gonna update my game to version 1.1.1 but I’m still early in the game though haha. Looking forward to getting my revenge on all the times I’ve died getting jumped 😅

Hi, so couple of things i wanted to ask after testing the glitch and doing my own research. The attack up +10 is already added in calculation to the number displayed in the bottom right corner of the weapon icon. For eg. a royal guard's claymore with that buff just one hit from breaking shows a damage of 84 which is ((32+10)*2). As someone rightly pointed, the glitch only transfers the buff, X2 damage boost of being 1 hit away from breaking and the material fuse power bonus. So it does not matter what base weapon you use ie I can use a badly damaged stick with +10buff and a molduga jaw for the same effect. So for your fused master sword in the video the damage is 30(from the sword) +9(from the buff) +32(from the jaw) = 71*2(for being badly damaged) which comes to 142 when not using bone attack up gear or attack up food. Can someone please verify this calculation? Because I'm early in the game, I used a black boss bokoblin horn with damaged and +10 buff on msgnotfound and fought with a soldier II construct but still couldn't 1ko it. My sword is fused as per the glitch step by step and is blinking red (made sure to double check base weapon was 1 hit from breaking). It should atleast have had a minimum damage power of 134 without any gears or food buffs. I'm not sure why that happened.

I cant seem to drop all three long sticks. Any suggestions? Edit: just wanted to point out the fact that I'm on version 1.0

FWI - You have to hold ZL whilst in the menu after the AAA Tap, otherwise it wont let you drop the Master Sword

Took me a bit to get it but i used some Sturdy Long Sticks I found on my way to snag the Royal Great Sword and substituted that instead, luckily it still worked along with getting the sword +10. I do plan on using it as emergency weapon setup and sticking with my Diamond one. (Don't want to make it too easy.)

if you use 4 mighty bananas and one golden apple you will get 9 minutes of attack+3, probably there's more and better recipes but i think this one is cheaper and easier to make from early game

For everyone on version 1.0.0: The glitch works, it just works differently. You need 3 copies of any weapon that is one hit away from breaking. Except for dropping a weapon at the beginning, do all the steps as above + unequip your shield before dropping weapons. After dropping the MsgNotFound, you will still have it equipped, but it will look like one of the weapons that you dropped. Simply unequip and equip it back. Unfortunately modifiers (e.g. +10 attack) will not transfer, but you will still have a 170 attack weapon, if you fused the silver lynell sabre horn to the dropped weapons.

I can confirm that this can work on 1.0.0. HOWEVER instead of using 3 sticks use 3 copies of the weapon (the royal guard claymore). Make sure to hold ZL during and after the 3 shield bashes until you enter the + menu. Then remove the shield before switching and dropping weapons.

After many tries i figured out what i was doing wrong. 1 gloom club doesnt work for this, use royal claymore. 2. Make sure you release ZL before pressing + to go to the menu and equipping your sticks. If you release zl before going to the menu amd equipping sticks then dropping in order, equip master sword, press ++, then select master sword and hit drop (the drop option will no longer be gray and will allow you to drop it). Before i was holding down zl then going to the menu, removing the shield, then equipping the sticks and it wasnt working.

Can you dupe another MNF sword with a fused MNF sword already in your inventory? To have 2 different fused MNF swords

Just FYI the weapon does not get transferred to the duped master sword. it'll always be 30 dmg + the attck bonus from the OCtopus.

The three sticks method didn't work for me on 1.0.0, no matter how hard and how many times I tried. What I did instead is I made a 1-hit-away-from-breaking Pristine Molduga Hammer with Attack +10, then duplicated that twice for a total of 3 copies. Then I did the exact method BLAINES outlined in the video with these 3 Molduga Hammers in place of the 3 sticks. However, only 2 MHs dropped, with the third staying in my inventory and the message saying "You can't take that out here". After picking up the 2 MHs the trick worked, and now I have an indestructible and powerful MsgNotFound. Hope this works for you guys, too!

What if you fused it with a Gerudo weapon for that Fuse Buff that those weapons have. Also i just had a weird glitch where i was using the Octorok for modifiers and i can't really explain it but a second Octorok spawned right next to the first one after i accidentally made the first Octorok shoot his fire rock close to himself and removed his rock. i honestly am just bad at trying to explain it.

It won't let me drop the 3 sticks and I think that's literally the only reason why I can't do it maybe it just doesn't work in 1.0.0

Having some trouble (on 1.0.0). After dropping the MNF, I only see two long sticks on the ground. Also, the weapon model on Link’s back is the long stick. If I check inventory, I see the MNF is still equipped and one of the long sticks remains in inventory. I believe I’ve followed every step correctly… any idea of what’s going on and/or what I can tweak?

I did this but just for a white lynel mace horn. Damage is 77×2 without the set bonus. I like using my other stuff too so I'm not going for broken but that snap is pretty satisfying

This weapon pretty much broke the game for me. With just any bone armor, no bananas, you can one-sequence everybody, including king gleeoks. It has a distinct boom sound with each hit. Plus being a stone- breaker makes it the only weapon you carry. Epic !

I'm having trouble removing previous modifiers from my MsgNotFound. I did this glitch with a +5 weapon that had 1 durability and I can't remove those modifiers from it.

There's another octorok on the way up to death mountain, but it might not be easy to use considering it's on a pillar.
