Imagine, 0:24 had you left both coils on, one coil bobin could have served as a guide for a hack saw. And your cuts may have been nice and symmetric.

Hi , I am only watching most of your videos and some other indian friends to last seconds (they are useful) perfect video and please help me in 3 parts : 1-what details have that part you installed on that motor(rotating black and red) and can you explain when i found a similar transformer in my country2- what output should have this transformer (if it is necessary to help us in details of non similar core shape transformer)3_and what is that bobin you windef wires on it? many thanks*

I was thinking one could make a torus with steel strapping used in shipping. It is painted providing insulation between layers and is easy to make into an iron donut core. It might not have the lowest hysteresis loss but it works and is easy to source. If your interested, you can see how i used steel strapping for the motor i made on my channel.
