*A few notes:* To be notified when my discord server goes live sign up to our mailing list: theartoftrading.com The volatility setting is intended for crypto & stocks (10%+ volatility - won't work on forex markets unless there's an end-of-the-world sized market crash lol) The concepts here apply to any webhook system (eg. Telegram, Slack, 3rd party APIs). Just research how to format the data in their required JSON syntax
Question: is there a way to make a big notify let’s say a text #general channel when someone starts a voice channel meeting. For instance if I was to join a voice channel named “meetings” when I start the “meeting” is there a way to notify the text channel “#general” with a message like “Meeting started. Please join the #meeting channel.”
This is a great video. BIG thanks. Not sure if you will read this though but how do you change the internal Trading View Alerts that pop up on your mobile to not be full of all the JSON syntax text. Even the in-app popups are just rubbish text...? at 25:12 you can even see it in your Alerts panel
There’s also pluto hq? They support forex automated trading among other trades. Easy for those wanting to try it. As well as free algorithmic trading games.
can you create a detailed video on how to include chart in the alert like this format: Crude Oil Strong Buy Signal 15 Mins - USOIL @ 90.195 image of the chart containing the indicator outputs
But do alerts work when there is something relevant or do they work 5 seconds after being done? I used the script and it doesn't work, it remains to be seen if it's because nothing has happened yet that would trigger the alarm, can you help me?, thank you
Great Tutorials , im a novice and learning however i like to keep it simple and just want to post a signal with entry and TP points with some more information to a bot channel and try to learn this but find the basic settings hard to find get if you have something that can suit my setup it be great to know as i not use indicator and trade with naked charting
so after I use this alarm set in my pinescript, so I can provide unlimited alarm notifications to my discord? even though my trading view is a free account?
Random Question, but maybe you are able to code this up? Can you create an Extension, that lets you setup automatically multiple trading alerts for different timeframes? And do you know "the optimiser" extension for strategy optimization already?
Hey Florian! Yes as Raktim said, it's possible but obviously the JSON syntax & webhook setup will be different, so you'd have to do some research into Telegram webhooks and how they work. But theoretically you should be able to send this kind of TradingView data to anything that accepts webhooks as JSON format - Telegram, Slack, 3rd party APIs etc. Maybe if I find the time and there's enough interest in it I'll do a series on webhooks for popular chat platforms
Hi Florian! Maybe one day. I love Java but it's not something I code in very often these days. I have been experimenting with using Java to auto-trade through Dukascopy's JForex and various APIs but the amount of work required to get even a basic strategy trading is immense and I'm mostly a manual click-trader these days as I enjoy trading that way more than I enjoy coding fully automated systems. But if I find something that works one of these days I'd be open to exploring it on the channel. Take care and best of luck with your trading mate!
Hey nice video I appreciate you a ton I have a question; say you are wanting to create a paid discord with some premium services inside like this; since trading view is a paid subscription would you legally have to have some kind of agreement with them to use their chart alerts inside a paid discord
Hey Jeet! Absolutely, it'll be going live soon. If you sign up to the mailing list on my website theartoftrading.com (or subscribe to this channel) I'll notify you when it's ready to join :)
Hello is it possible to send the snapshot from tradingview to discord with the alert ? With something like that ? { "content": "Hello, World!", "embeds": [{ "title": "Hello, Embed!", "description": "This is an embedded message.", "image": { "url": "chartnow.png" } }] }
