Yeah, If you want to make a game like ketchapp you can do two things. 1. Steal someone else's game and then stick adware all over it 2. Just shovel games out of the idea machine (Dead goat maybe)
@Tobycat7 oh btw adware is malware so they wouldn't put malware in their app they would just add intrusive advertisements i totally agree just clearing that up
Adware, or advertising-supported software, is software that generates revenue for its developer by automatically generating online advertisements in the user interface of the software - Wikipedia
I submitted a couple of original games to Ketchapp to try get a publishing deal for my indie games. Within a month or so they copied the ideas and released a poor quality rip off of both of the games without even telling me.
Moffel De Mol Not worth it. Even with proof, it’s just a free game with some ads. Lawsuits take a lot of time and money, there’s not any worth of going to court.
Really love how polished small games like that look... I really want to make one something like that. For some reason, i can never make just something simple. It always gets more complex.
Help me, why when i try installing android studio there is no android SDK ? I want to import things i make but i cant find the android SDK root folder and unity asks me to select it, any help please ?
I think you should have added a bar on the side of the screen which raises and lowers depending on how many oranges you hit, and if it goes low enough you lose. Encouraging the player to go for more difficult throws and adding more dificulty but all in all very simple concept and really well done.
How hard is it to turn a pc game into a mobile game? I recently made a little 2D game for myself on PC with the idea of converting it to mobile once finished. Now I'm done but I have no idea how to transfer it and I don't feel like it is even possible -.- ^^
Hi, I'm a subscriber of about a year, I think. I'm a beginner in programming, and currently just learning the basics of Python, after messing around with Scratch (very simple block based engine/program (not sure)). I know you can create games with Python but not sure how. Just doing it to practice, to begin somewhere. Can someone point me in the right direction on how I start? Even just a link would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks in advance!
I would keep coding basic stuff for a little while before you get into games. When you want to start making games, you can use something called pygame to do it. It's pretty easy to use but will still challenge you if you're new, so don't get discouraged if it's hard because it's supposed to be.
Hey, got all my friends wanting to play this but they all have an iPhone. Can you please put it on the app store. They're all additcted and use my phone to play it.
This man stopped time and recorded this video in under a second. Look at the clock above his left shoulder. Now we know how you REALLY made this app in under an hour.
You shouldn't use PlayerPrefs for saving highscore because the data stored in PlayerPrefs are easily accessible in the phone's file directory. You should do binary formatting to basically encrypt the data.
Trizlet I guess it's because most people only play mobile games to pass time, so simpler games are always the most downloaded, just look at games like Flappy Bird, Piano Tiles, Stack or Candy Crush. Simple concepts that make up good time killers. Even I can admit that whenever I'm looking for a game at the Playstore I'm just looking at these simple and addicting ones. But that's just my theory
what kind of game? if its viewed only from one camera angle you might get away with pre rendered elements arranged in 2d to look like 3d like clashofclans seems to handle it.
