I’m not sure I will add any more insets. I’ll keep using until it’s finished and then perhaps create a different type of handmade journal 💕

I find the use of packaging papers fantastic. I have so many of them and I don't understand why I never thought of using them as....PAGES! 😜 What a fantastic idea!! Looking forward to seeing that cover come to life!

Have you ever tried to do the pamphlet stitch differently? Instead of going middle-right-middle-left in an infinity symbol shape, you could also go middle-right-left-middle in a pretzel shape 😅 That way, both threads come out at the same hole and I found it very easy to make sure everything is tight and to tie the bow. Thank you for this video and the inspiration! I am so glad I found you through the Junk Journal January playlist!

enjoying watching this... like the size you chose too. I've used package boxes many times in my creating, from making little booklets to ATC cards, tags, etc. I sometimes remove some of the top side of the package/cardboard (don't like it perfect looking so I don't remove all of it) to expose some of the waffled inside which adds a nice bit of texture. I look forward to seeing this journal as it progresses through the creativity of cover and signature pages. Thank you for sharing.
