Turn your favorite fabric into an insulated zippered lunchbox with Zippity-Do-Done by June Tailor. Liz shows you how easy this project is to make and how much fun it is! Liz! I just have to say, this tutorial has made me so happy. I was working on a Windsor pouch (from someone else’s company) and I wasted a whole afternoon. It was a poorly designed bag. And their tutorial was awful. But I. Kept on until it was clear to me that it wasn’t going to look good. I salvaged the cute lacy zipper I bought from you all. You all do the best projects that are just guaranteed to be successful. I have this kit and am going to make one tomorrow. I was afraid I was going to have another disastrous afternoon tomorrow but after watching you I know I will succeed! Thank you for a great tutorial.

Oh my gosh I love this! I am a teacher and I carry my lunch every day. And I always have problems finding a lunchbox that I really like. Plus I love that I can turn this one inside out and throw it in the washing machine.

Great tutorial. I loved the little tip about the slight angle on the end of the straps to keep that tiny raw edge from peeking out. Wonderful idea! Wish I had known that when I was making masks, ran out of elastic (couldn’t get that anywhere) & had to make them with ties instead. There was always that tiny bit wanting to stick out with a loose thread. Also the idea of using the edge of the machine for a guide for your quilting line. Just made Thanksgiving table runners & that idea would have really helped. I’ll remember next time for sure!

Honestly, that tip comes out of doing it "wrong" once and liking that result so much better. (The slight angle on the end of the straps.) Totally works like a charm, though, and happy to share that tip!!
