Love that your tutorials are for usable quilts instead of wall hangings and table toppers. I love a ‘good sized” quilt and this one really grabbed my attention! Thank you Jenny and the MSQC crew💕

Love this fabric collection- it works so well with this pattern layout. Kudos to the MSQC team who showed us a new layout to a previously taught block, and how colour placement really makes a difference. Wow!!

Really easy and beautiful quilt. Am looking for a big, easy, fast quilt to make. We are experiencing wildfires here in California and usually the call goes out for large quilts to donate to the families that have lost everything. An entire town was burned to the ground a few days ago, along with many of the homes. So thanks for a large, easy, fast, beautiful quilt to make.

I love the easy way the pattern come together and the layout is perfect. What build up in my mind is, that I wouldn't use a jelly roll but I nice assortment of yardage to cut and sew the fabric and background over the whole width, the way the two ways the pieces have to look. Than I would cut the pieces I need from this finished stripes, like I would do a Four Patch or Nine Patch. But whatever thank you Jenny for a new great tutorial with lots of thoughts coming up. Greetings from Germany 🥰🥰🥰

Great pattern and so easy! I have some Ombre fabrics that I have been saving for the right quilt pattern. This is the perfect pattern for them & the size is big enough that I can decide about whether to add the last border or not when it is finished & still get a big bed size quilt out of it. I think it is so cool how You can change the layout to get a completely different pattern as You did for Diamond terrace & this pattern. That is awesome! The sky out here in the east Bay Calif. is full of smoke, again, so since I can't be outside it is a great day to work on a quilt totally guilt free ;) Thanks Jenny :)

Ps, Just wanted to say Thank You again for taking the mystery out of patterns like this one. You explain it so well & I really appreciate it. I can't tell You the number of times I have applied techniques I have learned from Your tutorials to a pattern written differently & have achieved excellent results with a whole lot less frustration (& usually a lot less fabric waste which is important to me, I hate waste) Your the best. Thank You

Can you use a precut background jelly roll? How many background jelly rolls do you think I would need? Cutting is the most difficult part of quilting for my back and neck. Love precuts!
@jennydoan57
@jennydoan57 3 года назад
Yes you will need 2 I think the background yardage is 4? So when you think of a jelly roll it is just under 3 yards …so you will need 2 but not use all of them.
