My soon to be 16 year old was looking to have a Barbie box at her sweet 16( she is a diva 🙄) , but you two have given me confidence and thank you for explaining the materials used !!, i work at Amazon and we use that exact type if tape also , i can vouch that it is sticky good lol
So happy we could give you the encouragement you need to do this project! Glad to hear your first-hand experience with the gummed tape at Amazon, too. we've gotten plenty of packages from there sealed with it! :)
So glad you liked this! We unfortunately are too swamped with projects to take on any new ideas, but if you make one yourself definitely let us know how it goes!
Thanks! The Barbie sign size will vary depending on how big your box is. If you download the cut file from our blog post and open it in Silhouette Studio, you can size it to whatever size you need to fit your box front.
How much you need will depend on the size of your box, so measure and check the square footage. We used three rolls of the pink because we wanted no seams on the sides. We could have gotten away with two if we patch-worked it :)
The color was just "Pink". Amazon has been sold out ever since the Barbie craze hit, but it's in stock here: www.kqzyfj.com/click-2518568-15283256?sid=btp&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.discountschoolsupply.com%2Fschool-supplies%2Fclassroom-decorations%2Fbulletin-board-paper%2Fbetter-than-paper-bulletin-board-rolls-u-2013-pink---1-roll%2Fp%2Fs816659
The box was free, the blue paper was about $10, and the pink paper was about $40. We already had the remaining craft supplies on hand, but if you needed to buy those from scratch, it might be another $10-20.
