If the kid moves around much inside, this tent could collapse or tip over b/c it's only kept from sliding by books, a basket or even a pillow, as the pics show. Probably wouldn't harm the kid but might scare him/her. Add small angled cross pieces -- wood or metal -- spanning the horizontal crossbar at the two bottom bars running at a 45 degree angle to the upright angled boards to the four corners to stabilize. Just a couple more drilled holes and some screws would secure it. Add strips of either carpeting tape or even stick-on velcro to keep the entire unit in the same spot. Or wrap bricks in colorufl fabric and place them inside the tent, at the four corners. And SEW or otherwise secure (glue, Velcro, hemming tape, etc.) that hanging pompom ball trim onto the sheet so the kid (or the cat!) doesn't get tangled up in it and pull the tent down.

Ok so I'm on day three of this "easy" project. And I'm a very crafty person. The dimensions are waaaay off somewhere. I'm guessing the "queen sheet". A queen will NOT fit the dimensions for the wood. I am about 16 inches short when I should be 3 inches over for what I'm using
