I love to see you doing live, often as a newbie i feel like i will never be able to sew as perfect as you do…seeing you not doing perfect is so real and encouraging, thank you!❤
Nice video learned something new I've been sewing for a long time now at least 40.years and I'm still learning new things great little bag. I loved the idea with scoring then quilting perfect.
Love the “wing it” way. I used the Annie pattern for my first bag I made but will definitely use Natalie’s “ wing it” for my future bags. Love your way of binding this. Thanks for this tutorial Natalie.
When you said you said you learn something when it doesn’t turn out boy did that ring true today. I finished a large bag like this today and when I was putting the bias on I screwed up FOUR times! Firstly don’t sew the pressed edge to the bag then don’t cut the ends off till you test to make sure the you sewed it right. This took ten times longer than it should have from pure overthinking.
Helpful comment. For your Juki, Hang the bobbin with the thread hanging so it looks like a #9. I too have multiple machines. Most times, I place a label saying clockwise or counter-clockwise. 😊
Does the bobbin go in the Juki the opposite of most other machines? I’ve always put my bobbins in looking like a P - but I sew on Bablylocks I’m asking because I’m considering a Juki TL2000
