Hi Jennifer, I get so excited when you post a new video with a special technique. I've been watching you for the past 4 years, never sent you note but, this prompted a one. The cards you make and have made, especially this one are just lovely, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to let you know how much you influence my cardmaking.. And I can't wait to try to make them for my senior neighbors. We make cards for birthdays & Christmas as well as all other occasions for all the 95+ seniors in The Village, it's a fun hobby for my friend & I have, we have been doing it for many years (just because we enjoy the process). Again, thank you for so much all you do, and please don't stop! lol

Wow Jennifer, I am so glad you did this tutorial. Totally amazing and not long at all. This came at just the right time. I literally just bought a Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Machine and some of the foil plates that you demo’d. I am so excited to have a go now after seeing what you have shown. Finally replaced my CuttleBug with a Platinum 6 so that I could eventually invest in the Glimmer. But it’s not *just* the investment of the Glimmer, but also alllllll of the plates to go with it. So it’s taking me a while to justify the expense. This is such a great video to help with justifying it in the long-run, now knowing that you can use them plain, with foil, or with ink! So clever! (If you hear any screams in the background, that’s my angry bank account 🤑)

Love these ideas! I have a hot foil machine but have struggled using it. I think foiling is not for me. However I love the look so today I am going to try the embossing powder and the letterpress techniques you showed to see if that gets me the look I want without so much struggle. Thanks to your detailed explainations I am also understanding why the foil machine is not working as I had planned. I make very detailed watercolor paintings and I wanted the foil sentiment across the top. Well watercolor paper is very think and bumpy so that is never going to get a good impression. Lightbulb moment! I will look thru some of my word dies and see if I can do the sentiment with those, using smooth paper, then add it over the top.

When I saw the BACK of the dotted one, it reminded me of large snowflakes...we're expecting 12-18 inches of snow over the next 24 hours, so I really don't need to see something that looks like very large, very round snowflakes right now!
