Thx u ee wave I tried all others but it didn't work but when I tried ur I was just like !finally , one thing that is important if u are making this for hand sanitizer that I made also u have to keep in mind that it will not work with tip32c it will only work with Bc547that is very common transistor
I was looking for a simple diagram, but this will not work for me. I want to make an ir light tunnel, but this might not be reliable. What's the problem? Sunlight or some other heat source might be the problem. This gives a dc offset to the ir receiver. So please use a kHz carrier (good old NE555) with the ir led and detect this carrier on the other side. There is a capacitor after the receiver to block dc signals (sunlight). When the carrier is present after the capacitor, there is a signal (clear line of sight of the tunnel). No carrier, then the signal of the ir tunnel is interrupted. That's why ir remotes also use modulation. But thanks for this video. It's nice.
I added buzzer to the circuit. But the noise the buzzer makes is too low. How do you make loud? I want to install this at the door. So whenever someone walk in, it will make a loud noise. Also why receiver's cathode is connected to positive? This is confusing.
superbly explained Sir, good job! I had an IR module , I attached a 5 vmotor pump to it using a TIP32C transistor, Output from module is attached to base of transistor, VCC 5v from power source & module to the Emitter & positive line from pump to collector, when the current is switched on it makes the pump to run continously , It , however slows down when an obstacle is brought near the IR transmitter / Photodiode, is there something wrong with the IR module? I was trying to make an automatic soap dispenser
I found the solution to the problem, I realized there are two types of IR module in the market , one with single LED which works well with BC 457 transistor , as shown in your schematics & other with Two indicator LEDS, which works well with TIP32C /TIP 42c
No. Photo diode or transistor conductivity is yearly increased (resistance lowered when exposed to infrared light) in forward bias it would conduct right away
Bro, didn’t worked. I changed the receiver, and tried tv remote as transmitter but there was no response... I even changed the ic with new one but it didn’t worked. But when I connected two ends of receiver with external wire the led glow... help me and reply ASAP.
Ya, you can check your IR remote with it. Actually the black one is photo transistor. Some people says it photo diode. And the transparent one is IR LED.
Hai sir we procured the preassembled or sensor module and it's functing but when we bring any objections then the output stops and we remove the objects then the signal comes.what can we do it's inverted can we make any changes in the board itself
Hello, how to add a relay 6 v to the circuit to connect a buzzer and how can I use it in the opposite way where when you remove your hand the red led with goes on . Thanks.
Hi, i have accomplished this circuit before. And now, i want to use this to trigger a pump using a TIP32C. But why is it that the operation was reversed. When it doesnt detect anything the pump starts. But when it detected something the pump stops. Can u help me?
Reason is there are two types of sensor in market one with 2led and one with 1led , tip32c is used in 2led it sensor , while this circuit is one led it will work with bc 547transistor..i also made today my hand sanitizer machine
Connect a 10K resistor with the output, other pin of the resistor should be connected to base of BC337 transistor. Connect One pin of relay coil to +12 v. Other pin of relay should be connected to collector of transistor and connect the emitter to the ground. Across the relay coil, you should connect a freewheeling diode.
Yes, I uploaded two counter circuits using Arduino and this sensor. Unidirectional object counter: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--YXJF46KiIM.html Bidirectional object counter: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FjeFDLzAMU0.html
You can get it with your multimeter, either digital or analogy, set your digital multimeter to the DC volt range and then connect your positive from your DMM to the output and the black wire of your DMM to your Negative voltage supply
