hmmm, fool, I spent 15 years as a plumber, used to have bundles of hemp laying around, just recently decided to do some vines and never once thought of using it, many thanks! :)
Since I’m not in the UK & have no idea what PVA is I did wonder if I could just use my twine & unravel it & glue it to the sides of my dollhouse, & then add the “foliage “ parts you talked about? I screenshot them because I’ve never heard of these items but this looks so much easier & realistic then the paper & foil models or clay that many people do here! Thanks for the gorgeous tips! Let me know on my twine please? Appreciate it! 💕🕯
Wow!!! This is great!! Right now I'm working on jungle terrain and I was really struggling for a way to come up with some neat realistic vines... and a few days ago a friend gave me a bag of this plumbing stuff but didn't know what to do with it, just kept it in case it came in handy. And you came along! Seems the planets have aligned xDDD. Hope you don't mind I use it in my jungle terrain video (obviously credit will be due!!) Thanks!!
Excellent tutorial. Short and packed with good information. I'm going to try this. I wonder if you could substitute the hemp with combed out raw twine. Probably more work, though. Where did you get the hemp?
@@wuenncke on your web site. i checked the shipping for a sample of ivy vines which cost $7.99 and the shipping was $16 to california. that was a few days ago. so last night i again went to the web site after watching this video because i really wanted to try the turf. again, shipping estimate to california was $16. i was very disappointed.
@@wuenncke that would be awesome! because i would buy stuff! i wonder if it would be better to try and place and order by phone instead of dealing with the web site.
