AWESOME JOB!!! I'm playing basketball since my childhood. At that time, nobody cared about such things,we couldnt even dream about glass backboard, not even tell about the net!:) THANK YOU for doing such things in so professional level! Its strong enough for my childhood wars!)
Super talented! I am looking for a backboard and rim for my church parking lot. The trouble I had is that most backboards have two vertical frames going up the middle. Need one that could screw right onto the plate. There's already a pole up with a metal plate. The hole are up already from the original backboard made of wood. The two you made looks perfect! Think you could help? We're in New Jersey.
I always think if I were making a 4 sided square or rectangular frame I could just make it out of one piece cutting a perfect v notch every where there is a corner ....then it requires no jigging, no tacking except the final joint, no finish work on the 3 of the outside corners. ? Or is that more trouble than it is worth?
Hello, can you upload the video of the part where the ring do ?. I would like to know how the ring is made, the part of the springs (the part that is covered). or if you could pass me a photo.
I'd like information on the plexi-glass or whatever it is you used to make the back board. It looks like it is about 3/4" thick. What is it and where do I get some?
