Mouth-watering video is usual! Always hate it to throw away all the trimming even at the home backyard scale after a brisket and I know there's good stuff in there. I hate to waste meat or food of any kind. I'm just about there to buy a grinder attachments for my KitchenAid which I've been using for making dough, pizza, pasta Etc so why not make some Juicy Burgers? Thanks for another great video. Cheers
What's the extra piece of wood on the grill for? Does that deflect some direct heat and force it around? Is it for extra flavor? Are you preheating it before adding it to the fire?
Thank you! I really appreciate that! I like the grinder a lot. The only concern I have is when I’m grinding a lot that the auger connection gets hot from the motor. It’s a non issue on smaller jobs, but larger longer grinds the meat will get mucky where the auger meets the motor. I have a link in the description of the video for the model and everything. I will try to comment it here as well. It’s the LEM #12 3/4 HP grinder. Maybe I should’ve gotten the bigger one, but I use it a ton and really like it.
