To those who missed it in the live chat, #MakeGoodChoices seems quite nice, but Tingman is actually the true definition of MGC, because in his channel, MingGoesCubing
MGC 5x5 is my favorite 5x5 puzzle; so I grabbed both the Elite 2 and MGC 4x4 without thinking; VERY happy with both of them! I wasn't aware of the 6x6 so i guess its added to my want list :) I have never tried the Valks. Ting I know you picked the soy milk for health reasons but Males should really be careful with Soy; it increases your Estrogen output (only an issue if you overdo it!)
With my experience, i know this is an old cube, but the 5x5 was amazing out of the box, insane corner cutting on the outside layers, no kidding I could get within 1-2 sec of my 3x3 AO5 when solving the 5x5 on outer layers only. The only problem with the 5x5 is if you are a bit careless doing wide turns the corners of the centers can sometimes slip behind a piece they shouldn't and it's a bit of a faff getting it unstuck. The 4x4 however, i don't know what the competition is like but setting that cube up is much much harder and I still don't thing i have it quite right. The outer layers are very notchy, and 2 layer turns absolutely suck for corner cutting, the cube WILL pop if you go more than 3/4 of a piece. Problem is if you tighten it up the corner cutting suffers a lot for not a lot of improvement in 2x2 layers, so I kinda have to leave it looser because i'd rather take the better corner cutting on the outer layers and lighter inner layers over 2x2 turns. It makes centres pretty sloppy tho and you can easily get a center pop if you're not careful. I'm sure it's a brilliant cube and cant fault it for the price but setup is difficult on it. I only had lubicle silk on hand so I'll try using some faster lube to see if it helps.
For me the mgc 3 elite is just good out if the box, but after set up, break in, and a few hundred solves, it's becomes amazing. It's main worthy, but it's not a main killer.
Have had a cheap set of speed cubes for a while and been looking at better cubes. Had these recommended by a friend but wanted to watch a review. Glad I found yours as these are deffo the best next step for cubers moving from their first cubes
HOLY MOLY I AM SOOOO HYPED FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!#Tingmanfam!!!!!!#Tingmanfam!!!!!!!also like jaswanth janakan s comment i wanna see Tingman commentait that match !thanks byyyyyyeee
When he said the GAN logo comes off with just a little bit of wear and tear I was really confused considering I’ve had the GAN 356 X V2 as me main for around 6 months and it’s still very VERY prominent
Tingman, previously you were asking of a cube, one can solve in dark.... Yj just announced it is releasing a Tactile cube, with each tile face having a different structure. Yj is really getting in touch with cubing community.
Hey Tingman! Sorry to be late to another premiere once again! But love the video/channel like always! Keep it up stay safe hope you reach 100K subscribers and have an amazing day! 😁👍
Love this review. Im new to cubing, probably gonna be casual cuber though. Got meself a set of MGC 2x2 to 5x5. Love the product thanks heavily to this vid.
You might like the mgc 4x4 but in my opinion it pops to much (maybe because I messed up the tensions lol) and is a little slow. I like the aosu wrm better because it’s faster and corner cuts better (except for reverse corner cutting). But if your on a budget or your mom is just cheap then I recommend the mgc.
Tingman! Can you please make a video on some cubing related Chinese? Teach us pronunciation and tonality of a bunch of cube names, and maybe even how to read and write some hanzi characters!
What’s up, Tingman. The thumbnail is amazing. I have been waiting for you to review the MGC flagship cubes. Keep up the great job in always making wonderful videos for us to watch and enjoy.😄👍👏
