I REMEMBER I DID THIS ONE WHEN I WAS IN 5TH GRADE! Looked at it again 2 years ago it ripped and I lost it was actually the most difficult I’ve ever made.
This is very easy! Well knowing how to make a fishtail is a start. For the people saying its way too hard. This is for you: 1) try make a fishtail before you try this. 2) If you have, do it again until you're good at it 3) this is the same as a fishtail but on 6 pegs. 4) if all else fails, you should probs repeat and revise cause this is damn easy xD Lol that's just my opinion ~
I'm not sure why this is getting so much hate.. this tutorial is amazing and I did it perfectly fine. I think you people saying you can't do it or this video sucks.. maybe you should pay attention better!
My daughter got a loom kit today for Christmas. Until today I never really payed attention to this type of craft. But after realizing what bracelets you can make I am currently making this bracelet for my daughter. Its been fairly easy so far. Just the same pattern over and over. However the ends is gonna be tough but your video will help me a great deal.
Thank you! This is the first bracelet I have made, and it was so much fun! The instructions were very easy to follow, and I love this design. I am going to make many more of this kind in different colors! :)
Thank you! Love all of your tutorials! I've learned to make the coolest bracelets because of them:) I get tons of compliments. By the way I totally love how you get rid of the bands to clip the bracelet it makes them look so neat! Thanks again!
Rob- For the end at 11:00 you can just put all the bands at the bottom onto your hook, put them on 1 peg, stick a band through it and pull through, and hook. That part for me was very hard, so that's just what I did.
Really helpful video so far, im still making mine its about 4cm at the moment but to this stage of 4cm its taken me about an hour! Is there any quicker way?
When he said to break those ones off at the end I did so and then a whole bunch started breaking but I still managed to save it before I lost too many 😂
I used the hook that comes with the Knifty Knitter round loom. It has a purple handle. Made grabbing the bottom band a whole lot easier. Just be careful looming the bottom band over the middle pegs. Its pretty tight there and you might break a band.
The only problem is if you don't pay attention to his instructions--especially at the end. If you don't listen to that step of getting the clamp on correctly then you mess it up. Took 3 crochet hooks to fix, but it was still fixable. Not the fault of the instructions.
Question. I know it's my first time making this, but why is my hexafish turning out kinda lumpy. It's bulgy and puckered and not at all straight. How do I fix that?
Betsy M Warren are you using official rainbow loom bands? either that or try distributing the tension of each band you apply on evenly and dont overstretch bands
Try doing this using a two band concept... Like a single. I like it a little bit better because it is very stretchy and doesn't stretch the bands as much. Also, it takes less time to make!
Someone probably already came up with this, but I thought I would just share my way of avoiding the really difficult finish on this great bracelet. Instead of putting 6 figure eight bands on the pins, start this bracelet off as though its a "Flexafish", (see Rob's demonstration video for the "Flexafish", on "RU-vid") which is the flat version of this bracelet. Then just go back to making the bracelet the way Rob demonstrates in this video. Trust me when I say, it is a lot easier, and you won't need to struggle trying to get the bands back on the loom. Hope this is helpful :-))
I made a hexafish on the rainbow loom a few months ago. It's a nice bracelet. I made one today on a monster tail and it's A LOT easier! Nice clear video and instructions for the ending.
Ok so I’m going to camp in a few days (yes Ik you are supposed to be quarantined but barely any kids are going) and I wanted to buy a rainbow loom because we will have lots of free time so anyone watching this in quarantine of 2020??? I remember I used to love this dude😂😂😂😂
If you don't want to cut off and waste 6 loom rubberbands, simply grab a bigger one (maybe you got some of these at home for sealing plastic bags) that fits around all pegs and twist it between the pegs... The bigger ones are also cheaper than the original loom bands ;) Worked for me on a circular 6 peg
Thx for this and it is so cool how you invented it! I haven't tried it out yet, but I tried a quadrafish, if you get what I mean and it went pretty well. Can't wait to try this one out thank you.
