hello friends today i teach how Make High Voltage Using TV Transformer Easy at home, this project very easy to do, and components we used have, old transformer form TV, transistor D718, Resistor 1K ohm, Copper wire size 0.5 mm, and power DC input 12v. we hope that in our videos you can do it after watch. Hi Bro, Thanks and very interesting. If we connect a 9 V, AC supply to the two ends of the hand wounded primary coil ( neglect the middle taping), what would happen ?

Interesting question, so far 9v hasnt worked, and you CANNOT ngelect the middle tap, if you made one with no middletap, use some sandpaper and sand down the copper, then solder a middletap onto it.

Can you make schema and what voltage you used...etc? Little more details wouldn't hurt. I just took apart an old TV and mine is SANYO, G4G6L0000003, JEAG. That is what I see on mine. The input is a red and white wire and output is a larger diameter red wire, that clamps onto CRT. How many volts is run into the input? (I see someone was than probing the bottom connectors, one of them gave a spark, so that is how he did it - but did not provide how many volts he used as input voltage. Also, is it DC or AC voltage that is used on the input side? ) Mine look identical to yours, including the two knobs on the side to adjust some parameters - do you need to play with them - if yes - how do you adjust it? Lastly, does the direction of the coil you created on the side using magnetic wire is clockwise or counterclockwise? I do have several 12KV neon transformers and I also made Jacobs Ladder using Microwave Oven Transformer, so I know how to be safe around high voltage. Thanks again in an advance, any help is welcome from you or anyone else.

Can i help you? The turns and the way are just in the video, start to count from the second up and down, first one is just to set the wire to be roled . So its down to up, then goes to middle. Just follow his movements

Input voltage is 12 v battery I saw alot of videos and they use different kind of inputs....so could be battery between 12 to 36 and others 12 to 36 volts kind of energy

The nobs are for adjust the screen They are for the other two wires, not for the big red one. So they didn't need to be twisted

The best transistor you can use will be the one that was in tv Take a look if you still keep it. Generally its the biggest one close to the flyback. See the name of the component and search for datasheet in the internet and follow the description Thats it I hope that whit this infos i could help you or someone else :D
