I would like to see you spend more time discussing the front ends on these tractors. I saw a video from Norway and noticed this different front axle, mostly on the 4710 "M". After doing some research I did find a unit in Sauk City, WI that had a self leveling loader with Skid loader attachment style disconnect and a massive one piece front axle that looked like it came off of an Abrams TANK, the perfect tractor. I would like to see more info about the pump that is pushing the steering rod, the rod size , and the pumps ability to work the loader and steering at the same time. TYM tractors covers this quite well. I am sure that the global hookup works fine, but skid loader attachment style is still king in the USA. we both know the massive amount of implements available is undeniable. You put out some of the most informative videos on u tube. See if this request would be something viable in the future. keep up the good work.

There are differences in tractors based on the Global Region. Like the 4700M Series are currently a European Version. Not every region offers the same features. Powered Front Axles, North America has had two manufacturers Dana & Carraro. In 2022 from the Massey Ferguson Manufacturing Facilities in Canoas, Brazil where the United States sources 4700 Global Series Tractor the Carraro Front Axle was being used which is a solid cast iron housing whereas the Dana Front Axle was bolted housing. We did a Video on the 2022 Upgrades from USA Global Series Product Changes: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xIrDge7hQiY.html 4700 Series Tractors use a Dual Pump Design. One dedicated to Steering, which supplies the Filter, Steering, Transmission Controls, Cooling System, and Lubrication System (27 Liter or 7.13 GPM) The Main Pump supplies Optional Trailer Brakes, the Rear Remotes, Rear 3 Point, Loader and Lubrication System (65 Liter or 17.1 GPM). So the loader and rear remotes are supplied 17.1 gpm Flow. Skid Steer is Popular on Smaller Tractors and Euro is used on Mid-Range and High Horsepower Tractors. The 4700 Global series is at the Maximum Limit for Skid Steer and is the Starting point for the Euro Quick Attach System so customers may choose which they prefer or the majority of loader implements they have. Yes, Skid Steer has more choices in implements but Euro not that far behind in loader implements and is an easier system to connect implements as you only have to leave the tractor once as they automatically lock. That’s a nice tractor I’m thinking about switching to Massey Ferguson I’m having problems major problems with John Deere, and it really comes down to my dealership, problem is we don’t have a Massy dealership in my area but that is a nice tractor my closest Massey dealer is I think about 120 miles away which is a long day to drive to get parts but I really like that tractor🚜👍👍👍

I have a Massey Ferguson and a John Deere both have been great tractors, but the plastic fenders on the John Deere if gets hit will bust and crack. On my 64hp JD 5320 it cost me $1,050.00 per fender $2,100.00 total. And that doesn't include the price if you have them put on.

You really need to buy from a local dealer...that way you can get the level of service you deserve when purchasing a new tractor. There some good dealers in Bama to choose from and take care of you. Better hurry as Dyna2 Transmission has been effected by global supply shortages and currently have a hold till summer 2022 due to parts supply issues. So what is in stock now is all that will be here till mid-2022.

Thank You for those comments. We really appreciate it and glad they are helping others learn about Massey Ferguson. PTO Fender Button is not an option on the Global Series Tractors. You can get them on the High Speced S Series like 5S or 5700S Series.

I am extremely torn between the 2860m and the 4707 cab tractor. I love the 4704 with the dyna2 in every way but deep down I think the 2860m will do what I need. Maybe you could do a comparison for us.

I have the same problem in my neck of the woods can't even get a dealer to return a call it's really frustrating I don't think they have any tractors to sell. my local Massey Ferguson dealer has a sign on his business that says Massey Ferguson but doesn't have one tractor on his lot

With the drastic growth in sales every dealer is experiencing low inventory levels. We've sold more tractors than our all time record year in 6 months this year. It's made stock inventory very limited. I was excited to see I had stock unit coming in this week but sold it yesterday before it arrived. You have to visit your dealer and Prebook incoming inventory or build & order. It's crazy times but that is the smart way to buy in 2021. We've gotten more inventory than ever...it just doesn't last. Just like this tractor in the video it was sold 2 months before it arrived.

The Range Shift (Right Side of the Seat) You must come to stop and clutch to change Ranges. Now the Dyna2 Powershift is a non-clutch feature for the Rabbit/Turtle Powershift.

@@VahrenbergImplement I just put a deposit down on a '21 4707 Deluxe cab FL3615. Couple things I really like: 1. The 12x12 has only two ranges, so chances are you won't have to constantly come to a complete stop and change ranges all the time. 2. The FL loader is so smooth. Unlike my current 1643 with the DL120 loader, which is very jerky and dangerous to be around.

About 24 speed transmission, it’s not that you have to have yes for all 24 speeds but you have a gear in between a gear, come spring time I work seven days a week forApproximately five months and when I’m mowing pending how thick tall and wet the grass is and sometimes I’m cutting stuff that’s 10 feet tall, having a gear in between is great sometimes I start early morning and when the grass is wet from the morning do I have to go very slow and if I shift in the next year sometimes that’s too tall but if I have a gear in between it really does help and it helps alot and for someone like me it’s worth the money to spend the extra on that option it’s very convenient also doing loader work if you’re going a little bit too slow or a little bit too fast you can upshift downshift in between gears by just pressing a button once you get used to it you will always want that transmission it’s actually very nice

Can you remove the loader on both models of loaders or just this one? Ive also heard that this model has a hard time switching in and out of four wheel drive? Is that a one off opinion or is this true? If so is there a solution? What is the life expectensy for the 3 cylinder hourly wise? ..I've been looking at this model for quite sometime and in the next year would like to pull the trigger. Thanks for your answer in advance!

Stop Tractor click the button and it's engaged. You never want to engage while wheels are turning as you can damage components on any 4wd System. AGCO Power 33AWIC 3.3L 3 Cylinder motor has been used in Massey Ferguson Tractors since 2013 in 4600 Series and the Small 5600 (5609 & 5610) Series Tractors. Been Flawless Engines for us.

Just to keep this straight in my own mind....this is effectively like multipower for an old school MF? I'm sure it's completely different mechanically, but like riding in the seat it works like multipower? That'd be super useful working hay.

Similar in Theory. MultiPower was a Single Powershift too. But the Internal Working Mechanism is much different in design.

Ok I'm new to all this ...grew up on a massey 35 and 150 finally looking to get my own ....let me make sure I got this right. 6 speeds turtle then six rabbit then stop and shift hi/low range then 6 turtle and 6 rabbit again? Am I close?

If you look at the speed chart in the video it goes Low Range Gear 1 Turtle then Rabbit, then shift to Gear 2 Turtle then rabbit in Low Side till you get to Gear 6 Rabbit. Then Stop and Shift to Hight Side.

We never sold a Manual Shuttle or Classic Version. Price was not much less than the Deluxe models. Manual Shuttle are dry clutch. Power Shuttle are Wet Clutch.

Wish there was a vid comparing this to the Kubota MD4-071. I was set on buying a Kubota but this has me thinking. However, I’ve got 3 Kubota dealerships close and no MF dealers. Plus I don’t hear much positives about AGCO as a parent company over MF. These are manufactured either in Brazil/China? Correct?

Have a question about upgrading the 3-point hitch controls. Looks like all the wiring is there for the more advanced controls like the 5700 Series has. Is it possible? Agco sells a kit with the up/down switch and the 3 potentiometers.

We are working on getting one of the new kits installed to upgrade 4700 Series. Our plan is to video the completed install to show the upgrade that is available as Upgrade Kit. Just need to find time to install and availability of tractor customer wants us to install the kit. It coming Soon!

@@VahrenbergImplement Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to the video. I've actually purchased the kit. I tried plugging in the up/down switch but it didn't do anything. It seems like the linkage controller needs different parameter settings or reprogrammed to activate the new controls.

Depending on when tractor is manufactured your dealer will need to connect their Diagnostic Tool to the tractor to set the new parameters to enable the function. Depends on EDT or Tech Connect Diagnostics...they need to contact AGCO Service for Instructions on how to enable.

Do you typically add Glycol/Water or similar ballast to the rear tires on your tractors?

We do not recommend Fluid in Tires especially radials. 1) Costs more if you need a tire repair 2) You need to add tubes if using fluid, and the most important reason is Fluid changes the footprint of the tire and actually reduces traction because it puts more pressure on the sidewalls and flexes the center and the fluid slooshes and puts weight on the opposite direction from travel...moving forward fluid rotates to the rear of the tire. Wheel Weights or 3 point CounterBalance is much more effective and increases traction,

That depends on how the tractor is used? Field Use or Road Use and Weight of the tractor. In the Operators Manual for 5700 Global Series section 3.14.8 & 3.14.9 discusses tire pressures and weight/ The more weight like with loader use the more air pressures. We adjust based on customer use and applications. There is no standard one pressure fits all situations.

Does the Brake-to-Neutral come in the 12x12 Powershuttle as well? Can it be a dealer added item or factory only? Asking as my 2019 4707 (deluxe) has the 12x12 Powershuttle and I would love to have that feature. Thank You again for all your videos. Depends on Tire Size but their is multiple adjustments based on Wheel Center dished in or out, Rim Tabs are welded offset so if narrow side in or out and which side of the tabs. Visit your local dealer and he can get an operators manual and review all the different options available. No numerous to list.

There are several options for 4700 Series Tractors based on the Loader Model and Quick Attach System used Euro or Skid Steer. You Dealers Parts Department has access to the Loader Parts Catalog with the different choices to match the loader you have.

They were installed by our dealership for this customer. Remote Valve Caps are in the Parts Book from AGCO Parts. The LED Lights are sourced from Sparex a division of AGCO Parts. AGCO Parts is the Genuine Parts for Massey Ferguson.

We have some upgrading the Front Worklights like the Rear Worklights too. Depends on what the customer wants. But the LED options sure make it nice when you have to operate after the sun goes down.

Nice tractor but having a heavy tractor that cant be lighted up for hay work isnt good. 9500 lb tractor vs 7500 with same tires puts ruts in my damp fields

But why are those with light weight utility tractors adding lots of additional ballast to keep the tractor on the ground when lifting bales, and ballast added to keep balers from pushing the tractor when going down hills. You can start with a heavier tractor and reduce the need for adding ballast. One of the benefits of Massey Ferguson using Premium Trelleborg Radial Tires it can spread that weight load over larger area to reduce compaction. Most light weight utility tractors are using biased ply tires and not recommended adjusting air pressures so you increase compaction...then add fluid in tires and increase compaction even more.

I get massey builds these IN CHINA with shitty china steel so they just add more. Thats cheap manufacturing 101. Show me the ground pressure values...

Since 2019, United States has received their Global Series Tractors from AGCO Manufacturing Facility in Canoas, Brazil, South America or the Dyna4 5700 Global Series from Beavais, France Manufacturing Plant. Originally the Global Series was source from 100% AGCO Manufacturing Facility in Changzhou China but that was changed in 2019 when demand for Global Series Expanded. Actually Global Series are produced in 5 different facilities around the world. With plans for expansion to every continent. @Ted Smith69.... Why is it those owners of Light Weight Utility Tractors are trading them in for Massey Ferguson Global Series? We've been trading lots of competitive brands and late models. New Holland Workmaster & T4 Series, CaseIH Farmall Series, John Deere 5E Series and Kubota. Massey Ferguson had a Light Weight Utility the 4600 Series but there is only one model left 4607M and is Subject to Availability but still in the Price Book. Demand has fallen off because everyone wants the 4700 Series and #1 thing I hear Customers like is the Added Weight and big reason we are trading for other brands.

Factory AutoSteer is only available on the S Series High Spec Tractors like 5700S/5S you can get MF Guide. The Basic Tractor like 4700/5700 Global Series are not AutoGuide Ready from the factory.

With you in the United Kingdom they offer different Features on the European Models than North American Models. Each Region can spec the tractor for their markets. You really need to talk to a Dealer in UK. Pricing Varies in North America by country. I do not have current pricing on this configuration as it was sold a couple years ago and pricing has changed a bunch since we sold it.
