Hello throwers AND handbuilders! Welcome to a new series called, "Make like the Masters", where we break down how to create work like famous potters. This week we're focusing on North Carolina artist Kurt Anderson. Anderson is known for his brightly colored and animated vessels on wheel thrown pottery. However, his design style applies nicely to handbuilt pottery as well. He's a great artist to follow if you enjoy colorful narrative work. Find him as @kurtandersonpottery on Instagram.

Estou em dúvida , você usou underglaze na peça estado de couro ?

Yes, apply slip when soft leatherhard and underglaze once the piece is hard leatherhard. The clay should be very stiff but also cold to the touch.
