There are some Curios in the Simulated Universe that really show the value Luocha has. for example, Thalan Toxi-Flame (Increases spd by up to 25% for the character with the highest ATK in turn for consuming 24% of their max hp at the start of every turn) and the Insect Web (Increase ATK by 50%, consume 20% of current HP every turn) Luocha is still the best healer in the game, the only thing he needs is content that needs the sheer amount of healing he provides.
Converting healing to dmg is already in hsr (sort of) in the form of "Dewdrop" buff in SU so they could definitely add that to a relic set or even a character
Honestly, YES TO THAT OVERHEAL SET!!! I love the idea of it, and given how much Luocha and maybe even Gallagher heal, Overheal is bound to happen. IT WOULD BE INSANE FOR THE BOTH OF THEM!!!!
The 2nd relic idea is something I’ve thought of for quite awhile too. Turning % of healing into a supportive role would really help out healers whose kits are just healing. It would even help out players who only have Natasha and Lynx
I originally thought that Luocha was mid af and was going to save for Huohuo, but after using a friend's Huohuo, I realised that she wasn't as good at healing as Luocha so I got him.
I'd like to think of the possibility of a new light cone being released for old characters that introduces new mechanics for them to bring them up to current level, that could be a fun idea. Kinda like how Herrscher of Reason Bronya get a new Weapon in Hi3 later on in the game.
Ooo Teambuilding would make an interesting way to buff a character for sure and relic set is a fair way to buff the character without making it restricted to gacha with the one I suggested
I think they need to add a character that overheals, because rn one of the main issues at least with Luocha's skill is that it's a really strong single target heal, but u usually end up wasting like 2-3k anyways. While a character like Blade may make an ok use of it considering he has many ways of triggering it comfortably and having a high hp, I think an overhealing dps that makes use of extra healing for dmg would be an interesting addition to the roster. The Furina-like support goes crazy for Luocha/Huo Huo talents indeed tho.
I really think the only problem is that the only enemies that have meaningful buffs are the Xianzhou abundance enemies, the IPC, and Argenti. The Monkey and Argenti aren't weak to imaginary, it's better to steal the buffs from the IPC than dispel them, you can kill the roots before they buff the Deer, and the Fyxestroll garden enemy buffs don't matter at all, so the only enemy where Luocha is a clear winner is the General. They probably want to avoid enemies where you NEED to remove the debuff to beat them, since the only two units who can peel are Loucha, Pela, and Luka (unless I'm missing someone). Once we get more units that can peel I imagine they will add more enemies with annoying self-buffs. Also I'm pretty sure the clam set from genshin is already on Bailu's signature lightcone.
I'm perfectly fine with a buff Luocha ngl Edit: I realized we were talking about stats, oops. Uhm, I mean I guess he could probably try to be an imaginary version of Huohuo.
Blade and Clara benefit the most from having Luocha on their team. All because of the need for endless healing. The ideal option, in my opinion, is a harmony/nihility character who will often use bonus attacks that damage all allies and in return give buffs/debuffs. This character will simultaneously upgrade Blade, Luocha and Blade's Signature Set. The more characters in the game use health as a bargaining resource, the more Luocha is in demand. After all, he is the only one who is able to keep Blade's HP at maximum throughout the entire battle.
@@kmh4076 in Clara's ideal world, all opponents always target her, and Aventurine is weak against single target focus. Especially if significant part of attacks will fall on only one target. We just don't live in Clara's ideal world now (most likely we in Aventurine's ideal world)
My solution for Loucha (and that also buffs other characters) is the creation of an enemy that implants a debuff that makes characters not beign able to shield or heal with their skill...
@@kmh4076 I explained the idea bad, sorry for that. What I was thinking is that said debuff would make the characters beign unable to use skill points to heal or shield, wich means that the skill button would be unusable, so even if Loucha's healing counts as skill it would benefit him cause that healing does not use skillpoints.
@@urfav.astaroth other games usually create some debuff that make skill point consumption double as well, so a debuff like sam boss when we use skill point but instead eating hp it just double the skill point consumption instead. And since luocha can heal through passive and ult field than he can rise up a bit
Luocha in endgame content isn't as valuable as he used to be. In MOC and PF, people would take sustainers that can buff characters over the most comfortable healer around because of the need for more damage.
Excuse me the healing numbers of gallaher literally heal the same my gallagher heals for 4k and he skill point postive and gallagher even buffs break dmg aswell at e6 he is like a mini luocha for can do some nasty break dmg against fire weak ennmies stop spreading misinformation
How would he be better? Simple. He consumes a skill point when an ally would drop below 20 health from a single attack once he uses his ultimate. This effect can only happen once per ultimate. This way, he will provide the team with defense, not just pure healing. Second option: once he heals an ally and said ally is overhealed, this hp generates a shield equal to the amount he overhealed. Making him a pretty okay unit for providing small shields and one large one. This way, if you want a lot of shields and heals, you need to use skill points making him harder to play. He also only provides shields to all allies if his aura is up. Third: If Luocha heals an ally, they get a defense (DEF) buff based on his ATK. Let's say... 50%. Since defense is only busten on sustain units like, (self-sustaining) Clara, Fu Xuan, (self-sustaining) Blade, etc. This could be a way to make them synergize in a way that would not be insane. I'd love for him to have a way to prevent allies to get one-shot. He would be such a good unit in Golden Gears, Swarm... but he is just not. Getting destroyed by attacks that immediately kill your units, thus preventing Luocha to heal them pisses me off. He needs to be a bit more than just a really fucking good healer.
The only buffs got I does for their characters are indirect ones, so they may make a mob that hits through shields so only abundance characters are viable or something of the sort
It won't solve the problem. The thing is you can always run Pela for a single target dispell. If you give mobs dispellable buffs.. it won't make any difference because these mobs will die anyway through big AoE damage or just through big single target damage on elite/boss who summons them. Mobs with revive are probably the most annoying mobs we can get but they are already in the game. Maybe we can have mobs/elites with stackable shields which you can't remove fast enough without dispells but I can't imagine anything worse than that.
i really think ppl tend to overlook luocha great potential as sp positive healer. rn we only have dh il and qq, but i think we'll get more of these types of unit and in that niche luocha will be quite good
Iove Loucha- he's my first sustain and first limited five star. Pretty man has carried me through the game and was the first of my husbando collection Him and Blade are a good duo- but I run him in whatever team Aventurine isn't in. I think his sp positive nature and insta heal will always give him some value
Sam Boss kind of makes Luocha good, since it completely counters his Combustion State HP drain on Skill usage. Also we can't forget the "Clara Luocha" combo of infinite Healing.
add someover heal-based relic set that give dmg buff like song of days past or flat out deals dmg like ocean-hued clam in gi is the fastest and most likely way to buff luocha
Honestly, the idea of the path of corruption is providing buffs, sustain, and debuffs all at the cost of your team; kind of like the parallel to destruction path as destruction focuses on draining health for damage while corruption drains health for buffs. So a corruption path unit’s ultimate (200 energy cost) could for example drain 50% of your team’s health (up to 1) for a 250% damage buff, 50% crit rate and 100% crit damage buff for your team for 3 turns.
He is Abundance after all, you can't evaluate eidolons even in isolation from the character, let alone from his path But yes, I think that Luocha’s eidolons and signature weapon are weakest among other characters
As someone who had in his year HSR results Luocha used the most, he's super good. Even after all this time, i skill use him. And he's built in attack and EFFECT RES. his traces + EFFECT RES makes it difficult to stun or apply any debuffs to him. His debuff removal will come even more useful later on, as he's so far the only unit who can do that against all the enemies at once. His ability to heal a lot and give a lot of sp to the teams allows him to play with other 2 damage dealers + a buffer/debuffer. Also, against Imaginary weak enemies he can help breaking them and delyaing their turns. If we're talking about new sets for him, my first thiught was about a set connected to overheal. It could be converted into shields, buff for damage, damage reduction. I noticed hoyo introduces new characters with mechanics already present in other parts of the game. If we look at the abundance buffs from SU, we coukd think of a new set that buffa attack every time an ally is healed. It's one of the best SU buffs for Luocha, as in his field he and his team gets 100% uptime on 50% attack buff. We also could think of "advanced forward when healed", or accumulated heal is converted into bonus damage aka the abundabce blessing in SU or Bailu's signature LC. I'm never against making old units interesting again
One day HSR i STRONGLY BELIEVE will introduce a new playable path just like when fgo introduces foreigners. Perhaps a voracity characters could help luocha out in the future. Imagine: Voracity unit Basic ATK: Damages all enemies based on own HP. Recovers own HP by 10% Skill: Increases own taunt value by 500% for 1 turn. Increases own max HP by 100% for 1 turn. Damages all enemies based on own HP. Ultimate: Applies own def shred by 50% for 3 turns (demerit). Applies def shred to all enemies by 50% for 3 turns. Increases own max HP by 50% for 3 turns. Deals damage based on own HP + [( HP gained over the past 3 turns * %) + (HP lost over the past 3 turns * %)] to all enemies. Talent: Other team members will Apportion 20% of the DMG they receive. Other team members incoming heals will get absorbed by 20%. When own HP is at max, all incoming heals to party will turn to shields (no limits). (Passive fu xuan skill)
1st off, great video. 2nd,the doomposting for loucha isn't justified or, imo looked at from the wrong lenses. Anyone who owns the character will speak volumes about how easy he is to slot into any team and how insanly reliable he is to use in any type of content. Not to mention how little to no investment he requires (a 3 star LC is one of his best for crying out lout) in terms of relics and just general stat requirements even amongst sustains since he has stupidly high base stats on his heals and rly high eff res built in with A6 trace as well as his trace nodes so all u rly need is 2k attack and the rest is literally irrelevant to his ability to keep ur team alive and that even includes energy regen cause his low ult cost + auto heal regen and even speed since his field is always up regardless and he'd still go multiple times per cycle without any speed boots if u use multiplication. No other sustain in the game can keep ur team alive as he does with the same lvl of investment. That to me, is a sustain that does his job exceedingly well, and that's the only way I can see it. Point being, a sustain's job is to do just that whether we like it or not. Anything else is extra, and while it's most definitely welcome, it should never be the criteria to judge on. That's like judging all hunt units based on whether they can buff other teammates like topaz or or judging all nihility units, including dot for not doing acheron lvl dmg. It doesn't make sense. He has his niche. Which is to generate sp, aoe strip buffs, emergency heals if needed, and being the best sustain for JL, blade archetype units. That's plenty of value in my books. With potential to increase depending on how the game progresses, which goes for all units, btw.
I think it would be better to add a harmony support that provides buffs based on the teams heals. 1. Skill: Team wide aura that last 2 turns that provides different stackable buffs to the party member every time they are healed. First Heal is bonus energy regen %, 2nd time increased damage and 3rd then flat speed. Bonuses scale with the party's outgoing healing %. 2. Ultimate: extends the duration of the Skill by 2 turns and consume all stacks from the Talent to provide x2 to x5 the buffs given by the Skill. 3. Talent: each time any ally is healed you gain a stack, and recover 2 energy. 4. Technique: For the first two turns abundance characters will generate a skill point instead of consuming it when they use their skill to heal an ally.
I have a great idea! What if you also did a series where you turned 4 star characters into 5 stars?! Like talk about how you can make Arlan into a limited 5 star must pull!
They already buff him with HuoHuo lightcone though XD I have all sustain (dont ask why I pull for all) True that I use HuoHuo (e1s1 btw) more now, but she has more risk in her sustain (till this day, she is the only healer that let my team die Sam in MoC destroy my HuoHuo, meanwhile Luocha (e0 with 4 stars lc) carry the whole team Personally I find Luocha is still a have a strong spot (not to mention the skill point he offer for the team)
He does not need a buff, healers just need a set similar to genshins songs of days past and or clam and boom healers fixed in general for dmg or buffing. Luocha only needs eidolons to be good, a simple E1 is atk buffs, E2 shields, E4 reduces dmg taken by weakening enemy and E6 is massive as it takes away resistances and counts as a debuff, from enemies luocha just needs more investment on eidolons or a new set period. Also you can use luocha to break shields now if you use gallaghers f2p book which btw helps to trap enemies more efficiently you just need super impositions on that light cone. But he works pretty fine as it is.
@@Eclin yup its just people dont build upon that it works better on bailu or huo huo cuz they both can add some dot debuffs on top of it and both can focus on hp. I wish I had that light cone
He is getting memed on a lot recently. Genshin and Star Rail fans have a nasty habit of assuming that nothing will change. That his aoe dispel will always be useless. They made Herta good. Anything can change. The best avenue to buff him is probably that hp draining harmony or new relic set that provides utility on an attempted aoe dispel or something.
Why not make a relic set that focuses on overheal that can give maybe 100% of the overheal a unit received into flat attack for 1 or 2 turns While Yes it'll buff Huo Huo but Luocha can get the buff more consistently and his enormous skill heal can actually be used as a tingyun buff. He also heals way more compared to the rest of the abundance roster so this set would make him into a better unit easily as he can also benefit from the flat attack gain too since his heal scales off ATK instead of HP or BE (Like Gallagher). Though Hoyoverse might give a cap (maybe like up to a 100%- 200% of a unit ATK) to how much flat attack the relic could give cuz if they didn't Luocha would just infinitely scale the ATK buff the relic provides
I love using Luocha, don't get me wrong, but the main issue he has is how he's squishy af compared to other sustains because of how he scales off of his atk rather than hp or defense. I gave mine an HP rope instead of an ERR rope because of how he gets his ult up quite fast most of the time and I don't want him to instantly loose like half his health when hit by an enemy like the Penacony soda monkey or some shit
I love luocha cause he looks like a Shoujo character like the hero who saves the girl and he is so so handsome. His movement in battle looks looks a dance ❤❤❤ i love him. Huohuo is annoing she is always crying so... urg stupid girl
his problem was being a launch char 😔😔. i wish we get a set that converts excessive healing into a % dmg buff for the whole team. he doesn't have a dedicated set rn anyway
Lol, they only need to make more enemies that requires buff removal(dispel) to make him great again, that’s basically the only thing he has that the other sustain don’t have. Only him, Pela, and Luka has it, and his dispel is on ult and AoE. Being Sp positive also is getting pretty irrelavant because of the the 2 Sp generator we have and Aventurine also don’t use Sp, basically only 4* sustains that really struggle with Sp problem.
1) Give us Furina in HSR. Character that scales with HP lost and regained back. (Including overheal) 2) Some amount of Luocha's skill/field overheal transforms into DMG% buff for character being overhealed (stackable to up to a maximum of X%, that depends on Luocha's max HP) 3) Add some buffs on his field (like E1/E6) for free
As far as some of your ideas go, they're interesting, but we already have examples of how to do damage in SU abundance blessing Prosperity, Longevity. But I do like the ideas. As far as characters to do, you should definitely do the least used characters. Like, the story I heard about Arlan was that he was slightly above the power curve in the beta, then they nerfed the heck out of him for release. But something for physical Trailblazer could be cool. You've already done Yanqing.
Luocha is fine imo, he just needs some content where he shines. When we get a gamemode or enemy that either counters shields or massively relies on their buffs he'll work fine. He's also the only abundance unit that can effectively panic heal without screwing up rotations (looking at you, huohuo) or being inconsistent (looking at you, bailu. Also why are all the female abundance units so short?)
I'd prefer to buff all healers at once if we are going down this path. Easiest way to do that is introduce enemies/bosses that negate, instantly break, or peirce with extra damage shields.
great video!! luocha is one of my fav characters so i hope he gets buffed because im not interested on the 5 star shielders we have, so instead i might get him eidolons or something, your ideas were so fun and interesting by the way, best wishes
i notice genshin artifacts sets are about the combat situation but hsr relics are about if u get enough of these stats or this stats exist, this get buff. hsr can introduce more relics that is for the combat situation while genshin can add artifacts that is based on ur stats
tbh i kinda struggle whenever i use my friend's luocha (i log into their acc and do moc bc they don't like moc but i love it) if they released a relic set that increases effect res of all allies but esp the wearer while also buffing the wearer directly in some way that benefits luocha that would be perfect bc i struggle to use him when enemies have crazy cc and just use huohuo instead bc as long as huohuo's talent is active her teams take cc like champs but the moment luocha gets cc i know i'm cooked i have huohuo on my acc too so tbh i'm probably just way too used to her constant cleanse i pulled her bc i had regrets skipping luocha and ended up loving her so much more than luocha as a result most ppl focus on her buffs but her cleanse is comfier than ANY other sustain for me
So the healing bubble you mention at 7.22 is basically just the dewdrop buff from abundance blessings in SU. Personally I just wish that his autoheal didn’t take 2 turns to recast again. Would prefer if the turns got taken down to 1 turn as there’s been several times I’ve had character get slaughtered just before the 2 turns had refreshed - lost track of the amount of times I had to redo Sunday fight due to it lol
Honestly, just giving luocha some type of mechanic that capitalizes on the excessive overhealing would be good enough. He's sp positive, has consistent healing, & buff removal (niche but still very helpful) is pretty good. Lowkey, I think he just needs something to help mitigate some damage like turning excess healing into a small shield or possibly increases max hp to an extent with the excess healing.
