Selling aquarium moss makes a lot of money I had personal experience of growing them in grids inside of mini green houses under t5 grow lights with heat mats and spraying it 4 times a day with maxigrow water
I'm glad I found your video being there's not that many on you tube, I've been thinking about "plant's for profit" in a 16x16 ft shed. I have a good start on tanks & I working on growing a few plant's, I have water wisteria, rotala Indica, jungle Val, & just got some hornwort. What tanks I have is 2-110 gal stock tanks "thick rubber" 3-55gals, 1-20 gal long 1-30gal long & a 75 gal, & a 10 gal. If all goes right down the road I may be getting a used reg 30 gal too 🤞 as for fish that I will have will be just for fertilizer they will be in the 2 -110 gal stock ponds. The fish of choice is wild lake bluegill/brim-sunfish, & comet goldfish & guppies
I think this is great and happy for you. I will be setting up a small 10 gallon soon/this week. It will be my 5th tank and I don't need to buy any plants since I can take from the older tanks. Once plants really get going, they can actually be quite evasive. The only plant I think I may need to buy in a couple or three months is some java moss or any good moss for fry... I have some, but not enough. I am hoping to raise up some apistogramma and possibly some angel fry. If I'm successful. Great video and I hope this helps you sell more!
Great video! I wish I had some good local people to get plants from! Purchasing online from stores lately has been rough some plants have been out of stock for too long!!
@@TankTastic I wouldn’t say rare, but I guess very popular! Rotala wallichii and pogostemon erectus are a couple fine leaved stems I really want. I haven’t checked fb marketplace only Craigslist I’ll have to check it out thanks!
Dear Swang: I used to communicate with Jake of Racoon Creek Aquatics when he was actively YouTubing: ru-vid.com He had a dream of selling aquatic plants. But, since he stopped YouTubing we lost touch. I have yet to take the plunge and inject CO2 into an aquarium. I keep about half a dozen tanks going around my house and only around half of them are planted. I say around because I make it a habit to break down one tank whenever I start a new one. I’ve made the mistake of keeping too many tanks going at once and I get burned out. When caring for my pets and plants becomes a chore, it’s time to let go of a tank or two. Here’s a link to one of my, more popular, recent videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-li2xuiNvM3k.html Thank you for posting this, interesting and informative video on selling aquatic plants for profit. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar
You really sleeping on easy/beginner plants. They grow so fast and sell 10x more than my rare plants. Also for the last 2yrs I've been shipping first class only. They usually arrive in 2-4 days just like priority. Plants are pretty resilient and can last up to 10-14 days in the mail, usps warehouses are temp controlled and it's usually the extreme weather from sitting on people's porches for too long that kills them.
I agree they grow fast, but for my buyers the uncommons moves faster than the easy plants. Also, for me with easy plants, it takes like a few sales to equal to one sale of some rares. BUT, if I did have a website I would def put easy plants on there. Also for the 10-14 days, some easy plants can survive that, uncommon plants is more finicky 😂
