Stell shows you how she builds her big ol’ I-Hate-Stopping-To-Eat size instant oatmeal packets, using mostly items and ingredients from the Dollar Tree.
For those of you who lose patience with Stell’s ramblies, the basic recipe per big portion is as follows:
1 pawful of dried fruit, total (or 2-3 baby pawfuls)
1/4 t. Salt
1/4 t. Cinnamon
2 T. Brown Sugar
2 T. Milled Flax Seed
2 T. Chia Seeds
3/4 c. Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
To prepare, dump in a bowl, add 1-2 T. Butter, and 1 3/4 c. Boiling Water. Stir, cover, let sit for 10 minutes.
