sorry, hate to criticize your effort - cool video! - but this doesn’t sound anything like CBL. Neither the build of the track itself, but especially not the sounds in this song. They are way too simple and not organic enough. I‘m discovering the secrets of their music aswell, and got pretty far with granular scanning and huge reverbs. If you wanna start your own discovery choose a massive reverb first. valhalla supermassive for example. then start feeding different sound sources into it and experiment. It took me like half a year, till i got the trick with their super organic pads, but it really feels special, if you unlock one of your biggest personal sound mysteries.
Thanks. I started off with Interloper as the reference track, matching feel and sounds, but then went off in my own direction. I prefer that to just copying direct, think it helps you find your own version of the sounds.
Just looking at it, it's Ableton Wavetable using the internal LFO to modulate the wave position. Then in the chain I've got Ableton Autopan (using the Tremelo preset), followed by Ableton Hybrid Reverb.
