Here's a twist for the next competition! After like 3 hours have passed, you get a random word generator. Each team gets one random word. Whatever the word is, they HAVE to implement it into their game.
I feel like team two followed the theme better and would be more enjoyable for a little bit but team 1's game is more replayable and it's just better as an actual game
@@zianna157 i always heard that online multiplayer is hard, but i didn't try to make a local multiplayer game yet, so i don't really know how hard that would be...did you work on any local MP games?
@@Atropos148 If you use Unreal Engine 4 and choose any of the presets(twin stick shooter, fps, third person, ect.) then simply dropping a second player character in the scene will start splitscreen, with you being able to change between horizontal or vertical screen splitting inside of the project settings.
@@SebaCape55 exactly, plus I see I will need to be logged in with an email Beacuse it's required, and Beacuse I have 2 step verification and all these security options turned on plus 40+ letter password so at this point I won't vote.
I think best multiplayer game is interesting, but idk of Polymars has much experience there besides that Pico 8 game. So maybe do something more creative, like best story game. You all focus on mechanics and themes, but not really ever compelling stories. That way, you both would get challenged!
ideas: you cold make a guy it travel the time and get money, but you travel again to grt ore money a fatest way possible and after that you come and buy a better machine until you enougth money to travel to pré history
