Make The Perfect Gin Daisy | Booze On The Rocks

The Gin Daisy is a variation of the original Daisy cocktail found in the 1862 How To Mix Drinks by Jerry Thomas. That original recipe is a sour with the addition of soda water. GIN DAISY
1.5 oz/45 ml Gin
.75 oz/22.5 ml Orange Liqueur
.75 oz/22.5 ml Lemon Juice
.3 oz/10 ml Grenadine
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to the shaker tin.
2. Shake with crushed ice for 5 seconds.
3. Strain into a highball filled with crushed ice.
4. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
