you are certainly right about engagement. But shorts are cigarettes of social media. I have some vertical phone footage and I have to collect it from friends who filmed me, so I may clip some up. But it's an internet trash to ruin our attention span. I want to make something that I enjoy watching on the wide screen and not ashamed to show to my friends. I want to say that this channel isn't for profit, but I get your point: never say never, it's better to have the audience when you have it and then I can always pivot the theme of the channel if I want to. But there's no money in base jumping, I don't even expect it to ever become viral or something.
