I’ve been listening to MTS for years, and they’ve never been better. This absolutely RULES. Booka was never bad in the band at all, but Alex just elevated them on this. She could do harsh vocals for Sean in some places which I can’t wait to hear.

Her name's Alex Reade, she used to be in a band called Drown This City but they disbanded not too long ago. I'm so happy she's doing backing screams, I was so hoping for it.

Sick track, first time they've caught my interest since Old Souls. Not only does the riff feel like Carbonized, the chorus melody is basically the same. Would be a sick mashup.

Blew all my expectations for sure. I love how well the dynamics between both the vocalists works. Great 50/50 balance between them. Plus those riffs near the bridge of the song FUCK. They're very reminiscent of the Contraband riffs. Let's also not forget to mention that Keytars are now back in style and should stay that way lol.

Alex is the new female vocalist/keyboardist. She used to be in another band called Drown This City and which disbanded very recently. She lives in the same suburb as Nick the guitarist of MTS and they used to go for daily runs during COVID lockdowns as the city they lived in at the time (Melbourne, Australia) had a 5km radius. And then in the meantime, Booka their female vocalist/keyboardist at the time left the band, I don't know the details behind that. Not long after Alex told Nick about her band breaking up and that she was lost and didn't know what to do. So Nick called every member of the band with the idea of Alex joining the band. The band did hold auditions, but they weren't vibing with them, and when Sean got the call from Nick about Alex wanting to join the band, Sean instantly said "yes" for Alex joining Make Them Suffer. And so the rest is history! 😊

I definitely think Sean is showing how dynamic his range actually is, and Alex doing her screams as well as the melodic cleans definitely sets the band apart

been a fan of mts from the lord of woe ep and neverbloom era of 2 guitarists and riffs and breakdowns for days, and seans insane vocals lol. but theyv'e chilled out a lot since then but this track is a pretty cool one, sweet riffs are back and i really dig the new girls backing screams too. hope they continue with the heavier touch!

Whats so different from the previous female singers they had on MTS is that this one takes her place in the band AND she obviously is a total metalhead, bringing her own flavor to the MTS taste. Booka was good, but she was incongruous to the harsh sound. Absolutely love their new and improved sound. Super hyped for a new album!

If you like this I feel like you’d like their earlier work like Neverbloom or Old Souls. Neverbloom was back when they were more deathcore and Old Souls was when they started to tone down their music. Both albums are absolute bangers.

They ousted Booka Nile from the band over sexual assault allegations. She put out her side of the story, the band did not. It's a complicated matter but in the end it was the right move for the band

MTs should be bloody huge by now cause they so awesome.but truthfully no one I no has ever heard of them

This is my favourite band so little bit of bias going on I’ll admit, but my favourite song of the year and I don’t think it’ll be beaten, although I’m open to be proven wrong

You should also check out Contraband the previous single and final track with Booka Nile. Also Courtney LaPlante feature! Also I think the fact Booka Nile is a mother now may have to do with her departure.
