Gotta get used to the new style. But i gotta say im really glad as long as you do what you like to do! Sure some fans ask for the more Deathcore-ish style but if you dont feel it anymore, you shouldn't do it. Artists should be free to do what they like themselves. Will always follow and support future projects.
She must burn sounded very similar to make them suffer for me me. The main singer might not utilize much lows, but in terms of their mids, highs, and general style, I think they were very similar. Maybe this doesn't apply as much now, now that MTS has switched genres for the time being, but I think more people would agree that they used to share a lot of defining characteristics.
This stuff is really insane. But all the songs in this album sounds the same to me. And its no bad. I'm just no surprised... I like this new MTS so much. But i really miss the old vibes. Well... by the way its a really good stuff.
Some of the things MTS were skilled at were blast beats, breakdowns, and brutality. But they threw that all away in this album. They could've became one of the next best deathcore bands but decided to go down this path. That being said, this is not a bad album, just kinda disappointing and a bit repetitive.
maybe they just dont give a fuck about death core anymore and want to go on their own path. What they did with this new album is a big accomplishment and they just found their own sound and art direction.
I'd argue old souls isn't Deathcore, more of a blend of that and Metalcore. And as for Neverbloom and and Lord Of Woe, they are good, with some real bangers but I can't blame for going in this direction, Deathcore isn't exactly the best genre to make a living in.
