Satguru ji l agree with you hundred percent. I n. English if I was to l would say whatever you have to do boys do it with a will. Times and trends have also changed .l do not remember who said and when. So many people in my my life who never complained. Was I very Lucy to be born in such a family or coincidental. Whatever, it doesn’t matter. Find it very hard to follow it. Special thanks to your sense of humour at least my day begins on happy joyful note.

7 commitments are great, and you should try at least one at the time. "the rest I will take care for you" is of course a lie and a BS. Guru doesn't do things, Guru is simply a presence around which things are happening. Guru's who decided to stay and be active in the world are in a way bound to lie. Even Buddha said - I will give you a complete teachings of Dharma, but you must know that everything I say is a lie. Paradox? yes. But there is no other way. It is the way of the language, which is the tool of the mind. Trying to convey that which is beyond the mind using a language is impossible task. Same with Patanjali - he says in the very 1st Sutra - Yoga is a a journey of discipline and in the 2nd Sutra he negates it saying Yoga is a state of being, and ultimately, there is no journey. Samanas can do things which may look miraculous, Guru doesn't do anything and yet miracles happens around him. Guru, in a way, is like a Black hole. He has an enormous gravitational pull, and once you enter his orbit, there is hardly an escape, if it is a right Guru for you, that is. What he says is not all that important - it is a game of seduction, that's all. To come close enough. That is way he says - I will take care of the rest. He will not, but you are on a trajectory, which can not be reversed. Presence of nothing is presence of everything, and that's what Guru is.
