Like, real Butterflies that have to go through several stages before they can emerge as a gorgeous Butterfly, this card also goes through several steps but as with real Butterflies every step is absolutely worth it. The end result is a GORGEOUS card.
This is a very, very pretty card. I love the colors and the addition of the gold accents. Beautiful job. Thanks for sharing. Those butterflies are so pretty.
Duh! Foundry wax! I would have never thought of that, and yet it seems so logical and even obvious. It's so incredibly beautiful ❤❤❤. Thanks so much for sharing this!!!
Nichol your attention to detail is amazing! I love everything about this card, stamped background colors, stenciling, butterflies colors & embossing, hot foil! Did I tell you how I love everything about this card! ❤
I received the supplies and just finished making this card. OMG!!!! It’s SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE IT. I’m so lucky you are so creative and I get to copy you😂😂😂
Love this card so much! The rainbow colours, butterflies, gold accents, background and layout are just wonderful. Always love Nichol's work - she is a crafty superstar!
@SimonSaysStamp I actually started making my version of it last night. I love your idea of stamping the postage with a script background stamp. I've done that too and for the butterflies, I've got a 9 piece set of butterfly dies and I cut them out on cardstock I applied Shimmer Pixie Powder to.
Love this card!!! I bought the SSS Elegantly Modern Greetings Hot Foil Plates and can't get them to foil. I am using Hammermill cardstock, have heated the Glimmer twice and I get underfoiling, but the serif on the words cut into the paper. I tried to take away the Glimmer shim and use a cardstock or even a cardstock plus a copy paper shim, but continuously get the same thing. Underfoiled image with the plate cutting into the thin lines of the serif. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Have you tried it on a glossy paper like our white glossy or color blends? Foil works marvelously on them. Also, you can try running it through more than once. If you need one-on-onee assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service department Service@SimonSaysStamp.com
