Put the coffee on, Dimitra; I'm coming over! You make it look 'verri izzy'. The best karithopites I've tasted add orange rind, and use clove very sparingly. I've also seen it encased in fillo pastry...yummy!

I just made this cake, it was delicious as always! Your recipes never let me down, Dimitra P.S. I used half of the cake ingredients and 1/3 of the syrup to fill my 8x8 inch tray.

Hi Dimitra, I love your recipes! Unfortunately, some recipes like cakes are inaccessible to me as a british person and I can't always work out what the conversion should be in g/ml. Would you be able to share in g or ml, how much the liquids are? I would love to try this recipe!

I'm guessing that a 10-inch round cake pan would work. As long as you do not fill the cake more than three quarters of the way full, it will be fine. The baking time will most likely take longer.
