O simplemente turistas que desconocen las reglas acerca de estos soldaditos. No se puede atacar tanto a los turistas ni esperar que lo sepan todo! Háganlos sentir bienvenidos en tierra extraña! Después de todo, el turismo contribuye con la economía de ese país, e indirectamente, a financiar los gastos de mantener a esa monarquía vigente. Have some empathy, for goodness sake!
I wish one day, that the guards on ceremony duties wear their combat fatigues...don't give a warning to " make way " ....and then we won't have ignorant tourists and STUPID laughing women.

That's an amazing idea and something easy to do. Why haven't they done that yet? Instead of having those guards insanely yell 'Make way!' repeatedly all day long. It's so unrealistic to expect from EVERYONE to know the rules about not getting on their way. Apparently someone over there lacks imagination to come up with simple solutions for this silly issue.
@@annavera-robles3623 I seriously doubt it would do any good. Tourists would just ignore it and still stand in the way, they think it's funny. They have no respect for anything muchless a centuries old tradition. And I'm not even British. 🇺🇲
@@msbigdog1460 Traditions whose origins started centuries ago should be considered super outdated. What was socially acceptable back then may not be socially acceptable nowadays. And rudeness is not how today's society responds. That's probably why the tourists take it as a joke because it's ridiculous. People now respond better to dignified treatment rather than to barbaric ways.
@@annavera-robles3623 of course EVERYONE should know not to get in way of Guards - it's common sense and respectful. Surely if anyone should see a Guard or Guards coming near them, then best to move out of way. It is Guards' workplace after all. That said it's a novelty to hear Guard asking for tourist to "make way....."
Soldiers are not pathetic. They are highly trained and would be prepared to lay down their lives to protect British people and their democratic way of life, if called upon.

I don't think the hats make them look ridiculous. I think the entire outfit, Including the hats, looks amazing. I have been in London few times and have seen them up close and they look better.
