I went on vacation in March and am just now catching up with the replays for all the Monday inspiration! I really like everything I’ve seen so far. I may be digging in my paper bag for scraps haha

When I saw the supply list, I was like "why a palate knife" we don't have any supplies on the list that require a palate knife... lol... now I know

Yeah kind of a weird supply when we're not doing mixed media, but it's super helpful and handy to have for bending up the papers!

This was fun! It’s a good scraps buster and I can easily envision using the same idea on cards and art journal pages to make a graphic design. The white splatters were a good idea, I agree! Feel so spoiled having these videos every Monday, thanks for sharing with us ❤

Hello Paige☺️! I love your extra style! I think you’re one of the first crafters I saw with stitches on your layouts. I have hand stitched before, but it is time consuming. Do you think it would also work to just cover one whole 12x12 and then cut that in thirds and flip the directions? Thanks for sharing these, I’m very excited to do them! As you say- not enough time!

Hi! Thanks for joining! To get the chevron effect I think one panel has to have the stripes going the opposite direction but of course I'd love to see the results of covering a whole 12x12 page and trimming into thirds!

If you want for the middle part to go in the other direction you have to glue it in the other direction. Doing the same thing 3 times makes them all go in the same direction. I hope i'm preventing you from making this mistake now ause i did.. good luck

Hi Paige, Two questions 1) Do you start your stitch on the paper or off the edge of the paper? 2) Do you use the same needle for sewing through plastic page protectors? I saw someone online said to use a heavy duty or jeans needle. TIA

I start off the edge and yes I use the same needle when sewing through everything lol. Paper, chipboard, plastic page protectors, etc :)
