╰┈➤ It starts with Hawks being hospitalised after his wings being burnt off by Dabi.
╰┈➤ Hawks is filled with sore guilt and remorse, partially because of killing an innocent man, and partially because of Dabi, knowing his identity and the anger-filled fight.
╰┈➤ Hawks goes to a mall to get clothes and coincidentally, Dabi, covered up as a random stranger, was actually waiting for Hawks to arrive there. Dabi then pretended to be someone else, named, Kageya. ( Kage=dark, 'ya' is from his last two letters of 'Touya'.
╰┈➤ Hawks then meets up with Mirko, the rabbit hero, and she also had a hard fight which caused her to lose her limbs. She used artificial arms in the part where it shows her.
╰┈➤ Hawks still remained mentally disturbed, and Dabi noticed that.
╰┈➤ Covering up as Kageya once more, Dabi had a conversation with Hawks until he passed out. He was really exhausted and it wasn't long after he was discharged from the hospital.
╰┈➤ Dabi brought Hawks to an abandoned housing area and settled him inside.
╰┈➤ Hawks woke up and realised 'Kageya' brought him there. Dabi, (Kageya), questioned Hawks sentimental questions about Touya and thus resulting in Hawks throwing an angry temper in the room. Hawks wanted to defend for the 'Touya' he knew.
╰┈➤ Dabi, then revealed himself as his true self, causing Hawks to get emotionally more unstable and Hawks slapped him harshly.
╰┈➤ Dabi showed his blue fire as a result of the slap, but this caused Hawks to go haywire and ran to open the door, but it was locked. He yelled and threw a fit just to not get burnt, and was later on comforted by Dabi.
╰┈➤ Episode 1 ends with Dabi saying that he will do whatever it takes to bring Hawks his sincere smile back, if that is the last thing Dabi could ever do for Hawks, he would take the risk, but also, another chance.
