I am so glad I came across this video. I am NOT very good at painting! However, this video was very detailed and had a lot of very good instructions that are very easy to follow. I wrote down notes as I was watching so I know exactly what to do when I repaint my front and back doors. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I loved that you did an outside door!! It inspired me to do the same! I loved the idea of blueberry as well...too many gorgeous colors at dixie belle! The bunker hill was a beautiful choice.
@@DixieBellePaint Im not sure, I would like something that would pop. I am currently painting my kitchen cabinets in Stormy Seas and I love it! I also just finished painting mynkitchen table in vintage duck egg. I love Dixie Belle Paints!!!
Wow! This is wierd. I was just talking to my husband about painting our front door. Thanks for the instruction. I feel pretty confident now I can do this.
I just started using Dixie Belle products. Love them. I refinished an old cast iron Japanese lantern using the patina (green) products. After watching several videos, they were so easy to use. I'm about to start my next project, painting a cabinet for outdoor patio. This video will be helpful. I now know which Dixie Belle products I need to buy. I'm thinking of a turquoise blue color. Thanks for the helpful instructions. Love watching your videos!!!
Yes, their patina line is amazing !!! Your Japanese lantern sounds pretty :) Some of their turquoise blue tone colors that I'm loving right now are the Peacock and Pure Ocean. Thanks for watching !!
I have been wanting to paint my front door and I want to use Dixie Bell Products. I am thinking Black as I have Burgundy shutters. You are a great instructor and make it look easy so off to my retailer I go for supplies. Thank you for doing this video.
Thank you so much for the love on this video! Amy is an amazing resource! We certainly hope you use Dixie Belle Paint for your door! Caviar is our true black color and would look amazing to compliment your burgundy shutters.
I really enjoyed all the hints and tips you gave in the video - I will give them a try with my next project. Love the blueberry color of the tinted primer - I’d like to give it a try! Great job with the video! Very personable and easy to understand
I would love to paint my front door teal but it’s stained wood and can’t bring myself to paint over it! Maybe I will paint my back door!! And love the color teal!
