Royal Enfield (RE) Himalayan/Scram Adjustable Black Stubby Brake and Clutch Lever Upgrade
In this video, I am upgrading my levers, because the front brake lever was broken when the bike was dropped and needed repair and, because the old OEM lever don’t fit well in the barkbuster hand guards fitted to my bike. My Himalayan also has aftermarket black handle bars, so these black stubby adjustable levers are better looking than the original brake and clutch levers, which were silver.
This work applies equally to the Royal Enfield Scram.

Couldn't agree more, I put some similar levers on my Scram a few months ago and it really makes the bike mote comfortable to ride.

Wow thanks for the video and comments, my scram's brake lever has broken in the same way. I'm going to try an adjustable lever this has given me some confidence

I bought a Himalayan with these installed. When in 1 gear and clutch fully pressed the bike creeps forwards. Seems like there is not enough leverage in the clutch levers to fully disengage tge clutch. Free play is set correct. I have it on nr 6, when on lower nr its even worse. What is wrong?

Hi there. Could you please tell me if you can find any E Number on thos levers. Since they come from Hitchcock theyy should have one. If not, those gadgets cant be used in Europe due to strict control of traffic law. By the way, good video, keep it going.

@@SandyToesDetecting The German Police for instant. Any part which is essentiel for safety without E number is ilegal. Any extra accessoiries have to be registered in your vehicles registrationpaper. Without an E number , no go. Have seen many bikers walk home, i.e. the had to organise transport for their bike on a trailer or so. 😣😣

@@SandyToesDetecting Trust the German Police. Lights,( Lense ) Exhaust, Clutch and Brakelevers, naturally tyers. Those guys who do this controls are specially trained to look out for such shortcommings. Any modification done on the bike, they will find it. If alulevers come from the far east, they are of doubtfull materials sometimes, i would not trust my life on a cheap piece of equipment. when i registered my bike, fotos have been taken from all sides an angles, Those infos can be called up by the police at any time. Unfortunatel its not like 60 years ago, whe i started biking. Have a good time and drive forsighted..🍀🍀
