Hi, nice video thank you. Do you mind sharing with me which faceplate that is you are using from fatshark please, and also ANY OTHER items that would be needed to get that complete setup. thank you.
Coppertop FPV it looks really good, the stock Fatshark foam is terrible, they always fall apart. I have got one of their fake leather ones that come standard on the HDO’s though, but this stuff you’ve got here looks super comfy.
Dav the skyzones had a fake leather one, but it made me sweat. Yeah, these put the goggles a little further away, so I needed to tighten them, but it doesn’t seem to soak up sweat like the others. I’ve had two fall apart.also bought the upgraded ones from banggood, which actually cut my nose, so I got this lol should have bought the goggle strap when I got this as well. I saw it as I made my son one of those whoover hovercraft thingies from an old micro, and you buy the foam kits from there
Jack Truong it’s new bee foam, and is way better than the Fatshark stuff. You can buy it from newbeedrone and lots of places depending on where you live.
Fpv goggles are the only thing stopping me from flying fpv all the time!!! The predator v3 i got jist make me feel like im going to crash cuz da screen looks so dam small!!! I do fly line of sight everyday but not in acro!!! I want a 2 or 3 inch to learn Acro the 5inch kinda scares me a little bit lol!!! LOVE DA CHANNEL!!!
DRONE review man of all drones 5” heavy is the easiest sized proper quad to learn on. Easier throttle control. And there’s nothing wrong with those goggles, you just need to get used to them lol
Coppertop FPV agreed, those goggles should be just fine, it used to feel weird for me with my goggles, like I was staring at a tiny little screen, but your eyes soon adjust to it. I have the Dom V3s with a 30° FOV and are 16:9, and I’ve done a fair bit of flying using my dads HD3s, I personally prefer my goggles over his even though the HD3s have 42° FOV, they just feel weird to me and don’t look as sharp as my goggles do. But yeah, you just need to do it Drone man, find a big open field with nobody around and go fly!
Dav well said. I hated fpv and used to fly los too. It’s just a new thing, Big field, fly higher so you can get your bearings, and wear bright clothes :)
Coppertop FPV I flew horizon mode LOS for a few weeks when I first started, it took me a few tries and getting my first quad stuck in a tree overnight before I got the hang of acro!! There’s that new acro trainer mode in the latest Betaflight 3.4 which would be a lot better for beginners rather than starting off FPV in angle mode, angle mode feels really dodgy behind the goggles, I don’t even bother enabling flight modes on a switch, all my rigs have accelerometers disabled.
