It is so good that you are back with us again. It had just been a really hard throbbing event for you. I'm glad you are back home safe and sound and the project you made was so wonderful. Especially cuz I know thinking about Christmas I would love to make Christmas rap for my presents. Years ago I used newspaper on its own using pages that matched the person and personality of the gift. It was lots of fun but now I'm going to try this. Good luck with your books videos. I keep saying I want to write…but I don’t do it. It was my favorite thing to teach my students (6-7 year olds) before I retired. Something is always running through my head to put down, and then I don’t, so I lose it. I think I mostly want to write down some of my memories/experiences to leave for children and grandchildren.

Missed you! Good to see another video from you. I love this idea - the end result looks so effective, and it's very doable. I'd love to receive a parcel like this (and, of course, I'd reuse the wrapping for tags etc!) Another commenter mentioned Christmas wrap, which made me think of all the cheapo, very thin wrapping paper I have, and that it could be decoupaged onto newspaper, along with other scraps, to end up with a sturdier, more frugal, great-looking wrap that goes further. Feeling inspired! Best wishes for the writing!
