Ok, so it's Saturday 🌄. I'm eating pancakes for breakfast, see a notification from Hahn's new video and I'm literally gasping and oohing and ahhh-ing at the craftsmanship! Dude...especially when you put your gold signature stamp on it! Classy!! All my worthy Hello Kitty pens and pencils would go into that case! 🥰
I was up all night with a scrap piece of leather trying to figure out the gusset to make a pen style case for my wife to put her embroidery and tatting needles in. This is perfect! Thank you for the pattern 😁
Otra clase magistral del maestro sobre como hay que hacer los trabajos , para obtener un resultado final excelente ,un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón , Galicia ( España)
I watch leathercraft videos to learn new things and tricks and tips. Most Korean and Japanese craftsmen are excellent. I found some Vietnamese do produce good products. Although I made all of my own gears since the '90s without any deep knowledge of leather crafts, Mostly made knife sheaths, fishing reel case, lanyards(leather). We have a Tandy store in Vancouver for a long time, but the name of that store was different, then Tandy bought it. I used to buy leather from them, but after youtube, my eyes were open to the world of leathercrafts. Now I can make quality leather stuff, but I make money mostly my fine woodworks and I spent 20 min on projects and can make 70-100$, but to make 70$ from leatherworks needs 2-3 days because I can't work a long time in one sitting. In leather crafts, you have to wait for drying up paints or edge finish and the finishing process takes a lot of time. But in leathercraft, you can get more satisfaction with your work than other hobbies I think. I also produced fishing rods and accessories, but that one also needs a lot of work to finish one item.
The title is a reference to the Korean RU-vid channel “Seungwoo Appa” (승우아빠) who attempts to cook store random food like gum or cola and sometimes fails. Other Korean youtubers have been making similar titles almost like a trend. It’s a little more playful and light in Korean but I’m assuming the title is auto-translated on this channel by RU-vid so it seems hard to tell it’s sarcastic
You make it look so easy and meditative. Just watching you is relaxing while watching the creation of a thing of beauty. Your work is so beautiful, surely you must have a place where your work can be purchased, please tell where
Never sell yourself short, Hans did not wake up cutting perfectly, take your time and do it simply for the joy of crafting an item that you can say.."I made it".
Nice work - thanks for sharing - you are a real inspiration on my leatherwork journey! Just a quick question: In the description of the video it shows your copyright date as 2018 - shouldn't that be 2021? :D
Thanks for the video. I'm interested in making leather bags, but I'm a little nervous. I'm new to bag making and not sure I can make such beautiful designs as you. Can you tell me the name of the equipment you used to stamp your name on the bag and where I can purchase one. Also, what are the basic items I need to get started?
Great work and a fantastic pencil case. But why are you never lining your cases? Yes the flesh side of the leather is nice too, but the zipper material is always a downturn.
