If Rolex cufflinks aren't quite your jam, or you don't have several thousand dollars hanging around for them, try making your own merch! Here's a simple trick to make use of your spare bracelet links to make a cool keyring!
Haa- another keyring video. I may actually do this, from a couple of Rolex links from an older watch that I'm never going to sell. Cheers from the states.
I promise there won't be any more 'how to' follow-ups! Like how to get a Rolex from your AD with no purchase history. OMG how to get merch from your AD would be original though! Good luck with your Rolex keyring!
Hey Mark! Love this idea and video. Ignore those haters because they’ve got nothing better to do other than run other’s creativity to the ground. It’s your watch, your clasp and your link. Do what it makes you feel happy and USE IT! To those who hate this video, their watches are probably in the safe 😂
Cool video, I was speaking to my Rolex A.D yesterday and he told me that Rolex has a catalog of gifts each AD can purchase. However, just like the marketing department that particular inventory is the easiest to cut when profits needs to be maximized. This leaves us either getting bottom of the barrel stuff or nothing at all.
That's good to know! That explains why one of my ADs hands out a lot of merch and the other doesn't! The one that doesn't is further up the street and far less busy
@@TheRandomWatchDude Yes, when he told me this it immediately made sense. However, at least you’re lucky enough to live in a country with multiple Rolex A.D’s. I live in The Bahamas and our AD is John Bull, and yes they have multiple locations and different store managers. But when Caesar makes his decree, what can the governors do ?
I’m not sure why anyone would really want or need to do this .. the clasps aren’t cheap and may come In handy at a future date if needed .. but not if it’s scratched to hell having spent its life as a Key ring.. I’m all for creativity but this is a stretch bud .. 😂
Haha yes I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea. But if the spare clasp or spare links are just sat in a drawer then why not have some fun. You paid for it. It's funny you mention scratches as I'm seeing more and more comments from people getting anxious about scratches. Do they treat their wedding rings and car the same way!?!
