Can you recommend a particular sausage stuffer? I have the KitchenAid attachments but think a hand cranked one might give me more control

I don't ordinarilly recommend products but I'd go for a stainless steel horizontal or vertical sausage stuffer. you can search them online and they all seem pretty good.

@@Coldsmoking I bought a 5lb vertical stuffer from Amazon. Works beautifully and, being vertical, one is a bit closer to the business end when cranking the handle!

Yes, I saw that but you said at the end "We're very lucky to have an online shop where we sell a small range of sausage casings, seasonings and other food smoking, curing & drying equipment" and I was hoping to bring my business to you for casings etc rather than go elsewhere. I already buy all my bacon making seasoning etc from you! Thank you anyway ....

Ok, sorry i misunderstood you. we only sell the paper casings these days ad the turnover for hog and sheep casings was so small.
